Ya when i was DCA ...there were some funny nosies coming from the contruction... but on a side note I CAN"T WAIT for the one here in FL to open up Its just going to totally open that area of MGM soo much! It will give more reason to go to EMH, and people will actually realize hey there are other rides in this park other than just Tower and RNRC! Sorry I'll get off my soap lol:) I just really excited for it!! I hope that it lives up to my expectations...but really I don't know what to expect!

You probably should... you might slip and fall.

On a side note: does anyone know how drastic the retheming of Mickey Avenue to Pixar Place will be? Are we looking at just a few meet-and-greets in caravans, or full-blown facades and lots of hidden details?

That one! Have you seen the huge facades they are building on the other side of the street? It's going to be themed to the studios on both sides.

What are the putting on the other side?

Anything better than a big show building wall would be great. It seems so cramped there.

They are adding like these huge brick towers on the other side so it will look like Pixar Studios on both sides. Almost like a false front on the GMR building.(Though it looks like there may be something in them.)

I wonder what the hourly capacity for this ride will be? Once it opens it should quickly jump to the top of the list of DHS's most popular attractions. I would imagine lines would be much longer than those for Buzz, and those lines can get pretty long at times. I assume they'll offer Fastpass for TSM though, so that should help.

I don;t really see this ride being all that popular, when it's really just a midway themed video game on tracks. It's not really as epic as something like Everest or the Tower of Terror nor is it as completely magical as Tokyo's Pooh Ride or IOA's Spider-Man. It's probably gonna have the same popularity as Buzz Lightyear.

it's not that i'm bringing the attraction down, it's cute and all but I don't think it deserves all the hype that the company seems to banking on. I mean it doesn;t even have a real solid story, just Toy Story characters telling you to do things for no apparent reason other than to gather up points.

I thought I was the only one. Im not one to believe the hype until its said and done. Iger and friends are acting like this is the best thing to hit DHS(i guess technically it is) . It will no doubt be popular at first but I do think it will become like Buzz and fade. Keep the younger rides at kiddie kingdom. Give me the goods, give me a cars themed TT/nihongo pooh ride! Only then will it truly be a pixar place;)

This hasn't been promoted as an E-Ticket attraction, but rather a solid D-Ticket. I'm looking forward to this ride, and I expect it to be a better attraction than Men in Black, but not as good as Spiderman. It takes elements from both, but it doesn't seem to be taking any of the thrilling elements of Spiderman.

One thing that is being overlooked is the Mr. Potato Head animatronic that will be in the queue. With a completely interactive animatronic having a permanent location, we get to see the next step in the living character initiative.

Personally, I find rides like Men in Black and Buzz Lightyear to be very entertaining. Buzz Lightyear is a definite family favorite, and we often ride multiple times on any given day. I'm looking forward to Toy Story Mania. I don't ask that every ride be thrilling, but I do ask that they be entertaining, and I hope that I have as much fun on Toy Story Mania as I do on Buzz Lightyear or Men in Black.

well, MiB at least has a very solid story going for it and there are consequences at the end. Buzz is cute for what it is and it at least wasn't billed as the greatest thing to ever hit the Magic Kingdom like they are touting TSM to be. They're not billing TSM to be a great new D Ticket, they're billing it as the next major crowd-drawer, which quite frankly, doesn't look like it's even anything all that special.

Who? Where? When? I've NEVER seen it announced as anything other than a big D-Ticket.

I've never heard it annonced as any kind of ticket. Disney hypes all of their new attractions. I don't see any levels of hype to be different in this case.

Didn't they keep Stitch in the "top 10" on the in-room Disney tv channel for the longest time?
