"True Colors" Pre-Show Honey I Shrunk the Audience

Guess this shows how long it's been since I've been there ... I didn't know it was gone.... :lookaroun

I didn't know it was gone either... It has been ages since I've been on Honey I Shrunk the Audience because it is so out of date and not really worth going on anymore...

It's funny, they recently put "True Colors" by Cindy Lauper on the Singstore for PS3's version of Singstar and I instantly was reminded of the pre-show.

Wow - thanks for posting this update!

I searched long and hard a couple years ago and found only a poor-quality audio recording. I couldn't find anything more.

Although the video is obviously not as steady as it could be, it's great to be able to re-live the pre-show. This was the first pre-show at HISTA that I was old enough to truly appreciate, and like others have said, it put a knot in my throat every time I saw it. Even now listening to only the crummy audio in the car or on the computer, it brings back the same knot.

Loved that show. 18 slide projectors! Back then I was called in a couple of times to program updates for Kodak. Sweet. Haven't been in that theater since '99.

I actually got a hold of the music, and thanks to Martin's video, I reconstructed the entire thing, bit by bit, but made up of pictures from our last vacation.

Lots of pictures of the kids....I think I watched Martin's video at least 100 times to get the timing of each phrase and sequence exactly right.
