Hi Scott! Do you have Citizens Property Insurance? I still have State Farm. I was insured by SF before they stopped writing homeowners insurance in Florida and fortunately they haven't cancelled me yet. :wave:

When my father and brother got free ice after Wilma, they received a whole case of bottled water. And then when FEMA was giving out food stamps (we got $700 ) they gave my dad a bunch of huge bottles of water. So we have those should the power go out. We're ready and hoping it does go south and we only have some showers to deal with. My trip to WDW can't come soon enough

Yes indeed, we had the same experience after Ivan. All we needed or wanted was ice. But when we pulled up to the distribution site, they wouldn't let us get out of the car. The National Guard was handing out the supplies. They asked me, "How many people at your house?". I told them, "12, but all we need is a few bags of ice." No matter, they filled up the trunk and the back seat with ice, water and several cases of MRE's. I ended up redistributing the water and MRE's to other more needy folks.
