MY JAW IS ON THE FLOOR.

It looks INCREDIBLE!!!! I really can't wait.

The effects are simply beautiful... and they actually make Avatar's look like child's play.

Eh, don't really agree with that.

But yes it does look like it'll be a visually stunning film. Hopefully it has a decent plot to back it up that's true to the original.

I saw that before Alice Sunday. The last time I wanted to see a movie this much was when I saw the first trailer for Episode 1.

This better not suck, because if it does it's likely The Black Hole remake will too (same team developing both, at least to a certain extent).

I just remembered Flight of the navigator was announced to be remade before, so what Sci-fi Disney properties will be next? They've done Witch Mountain and dropped 20K so...

I've literally watched the trailer a good 20 times so far today.

I haven't been this excited for a Disney release since Pirates 2.

I hated Pirates 2 :hurl:

This looks like it's going to be EPIC. It was awesome seeing it in 3D before Alice. :sohappy:

I ended up not liking it much either. But I'm saying it's the last Disney production(I don't count Pixar as a Disney production), that I was genuinely excited to see.

I hope this is as big as I feel it will be. I WANT Tron in these parks.

I honestly haven't been "excited" for a Disney Production. I've wanted to see them, but never got excited. I was pretty excited to see PatF as it was the rebirth to hand drawn and looked like it had a good storyline, but I'm keeping animation out of this since I've been excited to see nearly every Pixar film.

I'm also hoping that TRON will be big. I wasn't around when the first one came out, but I saw it a couple of months ago on my new flat screen TV. The storyline, characters, & effects (for 82) were amazing. TRON Legacy will pull the previous fans back into the TRON Mania and also probably grab many new fans.

Based on the trailer, it looks like they'll be giving minimal background info from the first movie so people can at least follow along in the new movie, but in all honesty, if you want to enjoy the new movie, you gotta watch the original. I'm also very curious to see how the TRON Evolution video game will be. According to something I read (or saw, can't remember which) it said that the video game has been in production since TRON Legacy's production. The game is suppose to shed light on what happened in between the two films, which is a great idea.

So, the only thing that kinda bugs me so far....

Has Tron actually been shown in the previews? I mean, you can't have the movie without the titular character...

It still doesn't make sense not to have him.

They made Jeff Bridges digitally younger for Clu, the can do the same for the guy who plays Allan/Tron.

Well, considering Bruce Boxleitner is in the trailer, I wouldn't be surprised to see Tron himself running around at some point. But I don't think they're showing him in the trailer because he's not the main character. He wasn't the main character in the original, either, even though he was the title character. The main character in the original was Flynn. It looks like the main character in this one will be Flynn's son. It may be that we don't even see Tron until the second half of the movie.
