Trip Report: Tokyo Disneyland Resort & Tour of Parts of Japan 2024

Good morning!

Today is an open day in our tour, so we will continue to explore the city on our own. We plan on taking the train to the infamous Shabuya crossing, do some shopping, and then if we feel like it, hop back onto another train to go to the Tokyo National Museum.

This is our last full day here in Tokyo. Tomorrow we move to the Mt. Fuji area for a couple of days.

A final good morning from Tokyo. We are getting ready early than usual to get ready for breakfast and then pack up our stuff to check out of the hotel. We head to the Mt. Fuji area for the next couple of days. Weather promises to be good, so hopefully we will get to see all the views.

Greetings from Mishima. We checked into our hotel for the evening. This is the view from our nice room.

Good morning!

Today we take the Shinkansen from Mishima to Osaka. Our luggage will be transported separately from us, so we need to bring what we need for the day in our carry-on.

Weather is rainy and cool. A typhoon is supposed to hit the area, but it hasn’t been bad so far, fingers crossed.

Can’t see Mount Fuji anymore this morning. Fog and low clouds are blocking the view.
