Trip Report from 3/7 - 3/16

Hi everyone!

We just got back from Walt Disney World and I want to share my trip with all my fellow Disney fans. We were there for 10 days, March 7 – March 16. It was our 7th time going to Walt Disney World and we had the best time of our lives, as we fully expected from the happiest place on Earth. The group was my wife and I and my twin brother and his fiancé. I will post a condensed trip recap below and if anyone wants to read more in depth, I’ll post a day by day report below that tomorrow. Enjoy!

Day 1 – Travel from Cape Cod Massachusetts to Orlando Florida
Day 2 – Magic Kingdom
Day 3 – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Day 4 – Day Off
Day 5 – Epcot
Day 6 – Disney’s Animal Kingdom / Magic Kingdom
Day 7 – Day Off
Day 8 – Disney’s Hollywood Studios / Epcot
Day 9 – Magic Kingdom
Day 10 – Travel home to Cape Cod

Total attractions tally = 111
Total time spent in parks = 85 hours
Total attractions that broke down = 5
Total new or enhanced attractions experienced = 13
Total pictures taken = 298
Total video clips taken = 60
Total burgers eaten = 23
Total hotdogs eaten = 9
Total slices of pizza eaten = 23
(Not to mention all the fries, pretzels, ice cream, cotton candy, turkey legs, bakery goods, and soda)
Total healthy food eaten = Some

Thanks to all for your nice words towards my Trip Report! While I was there I kept saying that as soon as I got home I was going to post my trip for all my friends on WDW Magic. I didn't have much ground breaking news to report but I think it's just as fun to read about a regular Walt Disney World trip. I had so much fun writing this report because it brought me right back to my trip and I got to relive it moment by moment. I sat down and played my Disney parks audio and just drifted back to Walt Disney World. Glad you like the pictures too, I've never really posted personal pictures and now you all know what we look like. Oh and to answer someone's question on where we stayed. We stayed outside Walt Disney World on International Drive. Now it's time to go and put my photo album together! Talk to all soon!

Great trip report! i love your "bookend-ing" of you trip w/ IASM. You got me thinking that it might be really fun to plan a trip with my boyfriend's sister and her fiancee. I love trip reports that give me new, fun ideas! Thanks so much!

It's a tradition started by my grandparents in 1986 that we've done every time we've gone, except when IASM was closed for refurbishment in 2005.

By far one of the best trip reports I have read !! Really nice guys cant wait for your next trip !!:sohappy:

That was a great trip report. I'm heading down to Disney in three weeks and haven't been there in eight years, so this got me pumped up for it (I actually went to school in Boston and live in CT now, so I know exactly what it's like to go from CT/MA weather down to FL weather - it's great).

Thank you all so much for all your kind words. It makes all the time I spent writing this trip report worth it. It took me a long time and my wife spent a lot of nights watching TV alone because of it, but I'm glad I could entertain some of you until your own Disney World trip comes around.

My 8 year old and I always read the trip reports to get us through from trip to trip..... kind of crazy to see your pictures on the first post and realize we went to high school together....:ROFLOL: At least I am not the only Dis-nut to come out of there.. :shrug:
