was at the WDW for the last week 4/6 - 4/12, pretty good time, definately not the best ever for 2 reasons, first being too crowded, i went 3 years ago the same week and was half as many people, oh well. wait times were horrible and most fast passes in epcot were done by afternoon. second being wife could not ride alot, we found out she is pregnant 1 week before the trip, we listened to all the dr. & disneys warnings, so i will have to wait to go on the really good rides with the wife( or kids ) for quite some time which always gives me something to look forward to.
anyway,
Sunday - rain, rain, rain, ponchos suck & MK has no drainage, did a few rides & hit HS, still raining, did the hollywood & vine buffet not bad.
Monday - the rain was gone!!! still crowded, had rainforest cafe lunch, very good, did Biergarten(my favorite) for dinner, good as always, but everything seemed warm to cold, fine though. BEER
Tuesday - had to run around outside of WDW to Walgreens for meds for the wife(preganancy stuff). went to Le Cellier for lunch, not impressed, ate there 12 years ago, dont remember the hype, overpriced small portions, maybe having NYC 10 minutes away from home gives me alot of food options!!!! nothing special for the wait or the price, service was slow as well.
Wednesday - This & that, Boma for dinner, again not impressed, everything was sweet, basically had alot of sweets & beer, nice place, but nothing special in my book. EMH in AK, left before the sun even went down to go back to MK.
Thursday - BB fun , but again, packed by 12, hit MK & epcot, dinner at Teppan Edo, place KIKU in Paramus, N.J. is way better & you get more food, i miss the old sushi bar layout for tempura better!!! dont like the new layout.
Friday - MK day & epcot for the last night, every resturant was booked so we just snacked around the WS, fish & chips, crepes, shawarma, beer for me, eggrolls, bratwurst on a roll, beer for me.
Thats about it, so we should be with child next time we go!!!! ya!!! maybe i will wait 7 more years!!!
