Trip Report -- 5/26 - 6/1

Not much time for typing, I'll just post pictures for now.

Okay, thats all for now! Heidi has a bunch of pictures on her camera that we didn't upload yet, but we probably will only buy one more day of internet while we're here. MK today, yah!

Okay so I swear I had every intention of continuing this two days ago, but these things happen. Alright, day 4!

We decided to sleep in a little bit, then headed straight over to DTD for some shopping and lunch. We hit up D-Street first, then went to Wolfgang's Cafe for lunch. It was of course delicious! After that, we got caught up in a rain storm, so we went back into D-Street and bought some more vinylmation items :D. When the rain slowed down we walked over to World of Disney, Aribas Bros., Once Upon a Toy, and Ghirardellis (yum!).

Once we left DTD, we went back to CBR for a little bit, then we headed over to Epcot before the flyers hockey game. All we got through in the park was Soarin' (which was of course awesome), then we headed over to the Poly bar for the hockey game. The bar was decent, even though the game didn't turn out how I would have liked.

After the bar, we took the bus back to the resort via DTD. We hadn't eaten dinner at that point so we ordered a pizza when we got back to the room. And thats day 4!! We don't have many pictures from the day, so I'll just post a few.

It was great! And honestly we only had rain for maybe three hours while being in the parks total, so no complaints there! If I can muster up the energy I will post day 5 later on tonight!

I'm really enjoying your trip report. My BF and I did the whole drinking around the world showcase last year but we skipped China. We skipped a lot of countries actually! We got pretty tipsy after 5. Anyway, we're going in a few months so we'll have to try the Gingerita! Thanks for sharing :wave:

Day 5

So....finally an update eh?

Day five we decided to head back to Epcot in the morning to walk around the World Showcase again. So, we hit up Old Port Royale to get some food, then headed over to Epcot. Neither of us really took any pictures during the day.

After some time there, we went back to CBR for lunch and to relax for a little while. We checked out the main pool for the first time, which was really nice! I didn't go for a swim or anything, but I could definitely imagine it would be good for families to cool off in the afternoon.

In the evening we headed over to MK for Spectromagic and Wishes. We staked out a spot in the back of the park by the Hall of Presidents about an hour before the parade. I thought it was going to be a great spot because it was right on the edge of a taped off "no standing" area, but all that happened was people crammed in 2 minutes before the parade and let their kids basically lean up against my tripod :mad:. Oh well, it is what it is.

After the parade we moved over by Philharmagic and the carousel for the fireworks. This was an interesting spot because the fireworks actually shot off from both in front of us and behind us! This did make picture taking a lot harder!

Once that was over we rode small world, walked around a little bit more, then decided to get out during the second run of the parade.

Yeah we only hit up five countries (Japan, China, Italy, Germany and Mexico), it was too hot out to drink anymore and not become dehydrated in the process! The gingerita is definitely something worth trying!

I really enjoyed your pictures and your trip report, glad you had fun, aside from the rain!

Also props to you for keeping priorities in order and wearing your Phillies gear and making sure to catch the Flyers game!
