Trillian Fix

DMC-12

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Is that the new "D" patch for 0.74 Fievel?

If so... yeah I had downloaded the D patch on Friday... but there will still issues with the AIM chat function... (could not get into any of our chats all weekend) turns out it was an AIM problem... and not a Trillian issue... :)

Excuse my ignorance, but what am I supposed to do with a "patch"? I was sent one once for Windows xp when I got my laptop, but had no idea what to do with it. :veryconfu

On a CD-ROM? A patch is meant to be a "quick fix" for software (WinXP in your case) that is not working correctly, or was not compatible with certain other software or hardware. Basically, a patch gets rid of a "glitch" in the system. Perhaps this glitch might not even be noticeable to you; perhaps the glitch only appears under a set of certain conditions that you, personally, wouldn't normally set up. No matter the case, it is always a good idea to, when possible, procure patches and install them onto your system, just in case. If that patch you recieved came on a CD-ROM (which I assume is the case), just insert the CD-ROM into your CD-drive, just like any other software, and it will probably Auto-Start installing itself.

^Hahahaha...he beat me too it. Posted at the same time.

Every once in a while your pc will misbehave and not want to work for you. When you apply a patch. It reworks the program so that it will behave. Just like a rip in a pair of jeans. Apply a patch over it and it's good as new. :D

As for you XP patch, all it'll do is fix a couple of things in XP. Microsoft comes out with patches every once in a while. All you need to do is toss the CD in the drive and let it install. that's it.
