Oh man, we feel for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad, I would of been proud to say "I know that driver", kinda in a weird online friend way.

Didn't I hear somewhere they were going to do more, or was this one hour all we get? If so maybe you could be in the other shows.

Still majorly ticked at our cable provider. Set the VCR to tape the 11:00 show and the signal messed up then too. Think I wil call and yell at them to be sure the next showing is clear.

As MKTiggerman informed us... DCL is a subsidiary of WDW... I wasn't quite sure about that one, since the ships are registered outside of the US.

As for Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and the new Disneyland Hong Kong... they are all franchises, owned and operated by outside companies... A crude example would be your local McDonald's. McDonald's Corporation does not own each individual restaurant... they are franchised out... but yet, they still report to McD's, and are listed on financial reports.

I don't know about Paris or Hong Kong... perhaps someone could fill me in, but the Tokyo Disneyland Resort is owned by the Oriental Land Company... a company that beleives that you need to spend money, in order to make money. And judging by thier amazing theme parks (granted, I've only seen pictures), and the fact that they are The Number One tourist destination in the World (WDW is #2)... I'd say they have a good thing going.

I have digital cable but even with over 700 channels there is no Travel Channel and still nothing good on tv. LOL.

Two things:

First of all, Disneyland Paris is owned by Disney. It is not a franchise. However, Tokyo Disneyland is owned by the Japanese Land Co. and pay royalties to Disney. That's why you hardly ever see Tokyo Disneyland advertised by Disney themselves. As for Hong Kong Disney, I don't know.

Secondly, as much as i would love to see a new show on the Disney Channel featuring the parks. Well, I don't want to see one. Confused? Ever seen that show "Movie Surfers" on the channel? I HATE that show. It's a disgrace to all the Disney movies, and they don't do anything that really talks about the movie. For example, I hate to admit it, but i watched the one for "The Rookie" and half of the time they showed the kids playing baseball. Oooohhh That's interesting. YOU KNOW that if they started a new show about the parks, it would turn out almost EXACTLY like that. And you know i'm right. And they wouldn't really divulge any secrets like Inside Out did because they don't want the kids knowing that it's not real. Which is probably why it showed up on Travel Channel rather than a Disney related one. And even if they did make the show, it would probably have 5 kids talk about a ride/show for 5 minutes. Lets say Pirates of the Carribbean, they'd talk about that for 5 minutes, go advertise some stupid "Zoog Poll" spend the next 15 playing in a pool pretending they are pirates or something, then advertise a "Zoog Movie" then spend the last 5 minutes showing the kids debate the ride around a coffee table with a guest star who is probably from Even Stevens or Lizzie McGuire. Pheew. Just had to say that.

I forgot to mention another thing...If they turned the "Imagineer That" into a half-hour show. I would watch that RELIGIOUSLY.
BUT they have to keep it how it is already. and add NOTHING ELSE.

My friend forgot earlier this week but he has scheduled TIVO to record it Friday night. I should be able to post it over the weekend; Although Popkid will probably beat me to it:)

Sorry but I do not agree with you. :brick: I like seeing the secrets of Walt Disney World. Oh by the way when I was a kid I knew it was not real. My famiy took me because it was the best theme park. Get over it, if you think it takes away from the magic then don't watch !!! The rest of us Disney Geeks will watch and find out the secrets.

Its not that I don't want the secrets revealed, but it's just how they present it. Which of course will most likely be the way i predicted. I said that the channel probably wouldn't for fear of smaller children finding out that the illusions aren't real. Oh, and sorry, you're right, it is the Oriental Land Company. My Bad.

When Inside Out was on the Disney Channel, I would watch it everyday just to see WDW. What if Disney was to film a new show on location in WDW. Thunder in Paradise (don't know if you remember that show) was filmed in WDW and you could tell if you are a WDW freak like me.

Yes, it might reveal to much for the younger kids but I have turned my sisters kids into little Disney nuts, and my friend down at WDW showed them around the backstage areas and they loved it.

I think that Disney should come out with some sort of show about of filmed at WDW.

I have to tell you Disney really screwed them selves with TDL. Disney never guessed that almost every guest would buy gifts and spend tons of money at TDL. I read that Disney was approched by Oriental Land Company to make a copy of WDW in Japan. OLC offered them to run the merchindise but Disney said they only wanted royalities. Disney lost out on millions. Shows how stupid Disney can be.

Disney also screwed up when they built all those hotels at Disney Land Paris. LOL. :brick:

Disneyland Paris now is a partnership between the Walt Disney Co and the Saudi Arabian Royal Family (i'd say the name of the specific prince, but since there are soooo many, and most of their names are too close for me to distinguish, I'll leave it at the Saudi Royal Family).

And Hong Kong at this time is 100% Disney w/ the Chinese Gov't as a MAJOR backer.
