Travel Agents

Has anyone used MEI-Travel or Mouse Fan Travel? I normally book trips myself, but I am debating using them for my upcoming trip.

I am still tossing up between booking myself or using a travel agent (will be my first trip). If I use a travel agent, am I still able to make dining reservations and book fast passes if I want to? I note that some travel agents do that as well but I am curious. Will I be able to link the reservation to my Disney account?

Thanks :)

I can not speak for the other agencies, but you will be able to do that with Kingdom Konsultants. They will have as much involvement as you like. If you just want them to book a room only they will do just that. If you want them to book rooms, set up dining and get you a tee time at one of the golf courses, they can do that to.

I have not had any personal TA experience with MyMagic + but it is my understanding that they can link it to your Disney account. @wannabeBelle or @Kingdom Konsultant will know for sure.

Correct as always Master Yoda!!! We are as involved as much or as little as you like. We can make your dining or if you prefer you are certainly welcome to do it yourself. We provide Disney resort reservation numbers for our bookings so you can link them to your My Disney Experience account to see the booking, such as the resort, the tickets, dining plan etc. I do not go into my client's accounts as they are private and should stay that way but I will happily talk you through any set up for linking your resort reservation, checking in online, Fast Pass +, etc. Marie

As @Master Yoda and @wannabeBelle have stated you can have as much control with making your own dining a fast pass selections as you want. I have done everything from help clients set up their accounts to setting them up for them and everything in between.

Thank you to everyone that has been showing the love for Kingdom Konsultants! You all ROCK!!!!

Thanks all for the responses, very helpful :) I am sold on getting some help - I mainly wanted to be able to log into my MDE account to see my reservation.

My husband and I will be travelling from Australia to spend about four weeks in the US in April next year. I'm currently waiting for the NBA to release their 2014-15 schedule as it will dictate our travel schedule. Once that is out, I can start the booking process!

Thanks again :)

Im sure some AAA agents are awesome and are into DIsney just as much as we are but AAA, as a company, no longer will be able to get discounts that are unavailable to others as their relationship with Disney is ending. Any room only reservation or packages for 2015 will be the same pricing and extras will be the same. Im sure the agents can still book trip to Disney but another AAA agent who isnt as into Disney, may not have the training that you might be looking for as thye are no longer affiliated. Marie

We ran into that significant difference between AAA agents back in the late 90's when we booked a Disney cruise and a trip to WDW. The agent we booked the cruise with knew Disney inside and out. That same agent was no longer there when we booked a 5 day trip to WDW a little over a year later. Our new agent's Disney knowledge peaked at "It is in Orlando, right?".
