As someone who has never used a travel agent – is there any point when you are typically pretty on top of things already?

I don't think there's any better to get pricing than the Florida resident weekday only annual pass, and I don't think there's any better room discount than the annual pass holder discount(?) when they run sales.

Using a good agent frees you from having to be on top of things. When I book with @wannabeBelle at Kingdom Konsultants, I give her my travel dates, resort preferences, dining requests and I am done.

She is the one that has to get up at 6:00 AM to make my dining reservations. She is the one that has to keep track of promotions. She is the one that spends time on the phone getting my reservation re-booked when a discount comes out.

When I have a question or need to change something I have a single point of contact that I can reach either via phone or email. No hoping I get a "good CM" this time on that phone call. I have a direct line to a pro.

Sure, I could do all that work myself, but why? KK does not charge me a dime for their services. The only thing I have to do is go on the trip.

That's a lot for all the control freak in me to let go of LOL. But I will have to try it at some point. Usually there is an anything that vital that we have to do – but I'm a little paranoid that we won't be able to get Victoria and Albert's for our 10 year anniversary in 2017. That may be the time to do it.

I use a travel agent because I hate to sit on hold with Disney trying to apply discounts to my room. I call her when I see a discount is out and she usually already knows and it working on applying it to my reservation. I still do my own ADRs and FPP though.
