Travel agent or not?

I have always booked my own trips. Can someone tell me the pros and cons of using a travel agent? What does it cost to use one?

I book my own trips but that's mainly bc I over research and book my own dining and FPs. But a travel agent does have plenty of perks. Mostly bc they don't cost anything or very little. But how they can help big time is with planning if you haven't really done any research I.e. Not knowing what rides to fp and such. They also can help big time with dining.
