Transportation to Universal

And as a sidenote, if you've been to Universal in Florida, just skip Universal Hollywood completely. Go to Knott's. It's a 10 minute drive from DL.

USH is a much different park than Orlando. The big difference is that it is a working studios, and the Tram Tour gives you a chance to actual see many outdoor sets where things are filmed.

That said, I am a big fan of Knott's. Buena Park is an easy 20 minute trip on the same LA Metro 460 bus, that also serves Medieval Times, Pirates Dinner Theater and Buena Park Downtown,

The LA Metro 460 bus was designed as a commuter route for the workers in the Buena Park and Anaheim tourism locations from those living in LA.

I've never gone. The only thing I want to do is the tram ride.

I'm sure it's definitely skippable if you've been to UO. They don't even have E.T., Spider-Man, Cat in the Hat, the Men in Black, Diagon Alley, the horror makeup show. Those are the things that make a Universal trip for me these days.
