Transformers: The Ride opening date

Don't misunderstand, I'm glad they built it. (And yeah, I'd love Indiana Jones in DHS or even Adventureland). But if you've ridden Spidey enough times you can do the script by heart--or I imagine if you were to do both rides in the same day--it becomes obvious it's the same vehicle on largely the same track. Still fun, but no getting around that.

Oh I knew what you were doing ... I didn't mean to sound "contrary" ... I was sort of agreeing with you in a round about way.

FANTASTIC RIDE.

Probably the best ride there is out there today. Just fantastic.

It uses the same premise as Spiderman, but it is different. Alot more thrills. The graphics clearer. More realistic to the cartoony style images in Spiderman.

Loved it !

The only thing that's really different are some Easter eggs and better projectors in the ride portion.

UTTER NONSENSE. The ride is vastly different.

It's like saying Peter Pan is the same as ET. Or Men in Black is the same as Toy Story ... yes similar style rides, but different.

If there is a better ride than this i'd like to know. I'm actually gobsmacked it's been released to such little fanfare, almost casually, no hype at all.

He's comparing Transformers: The Ride - 3D at Universal Studios Hollywood and Transformers: The Ride - 3D at Universal Studios Florida...

And there are similarities between Transformers: The Ride - 3D and the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. They share scenes and effects. It's simply fact. Transformers: The Ride - 3D was never planned to go to Florida, so they opted to go with what they know works.

What are the easter eggs? And do the newer projectors actually make a difference, or is it just a bit of tech trivia?

It makes a difference, I was talking to some other people who had a part in the Hollywood version being built last night. They all agreed the projectors made a difference. Of all three versions each one has different projectors. It just works out that 4K is the future so its like a computer, there outdated before you know it.

Went on it last night, the queue was amazing and so was the ride but I still prefer Spider-Man,
I found Transformers in USH to be quite dull. It lacks a cohesive storyline. You basically move screen to screen and watch robots fight each other in a highly repetitive manner. There are no physical sets to speak of, and it lacks Spiderman's overall fun factor. There also is no memorable score to speak of.

People calling it the best attraction in the resort, is like saying the last movie you saw in the theater is the best movie you saw ever! All style, no substance.

Yeah, but remember, this is basically UOR's "filler" attraction. Be thankful the filler is an attraction of this scale!

Universal's tag line is "ride the movies," so mission accomplished!

This week was very exciting.

Antarctica opened, even with the cold reception (heh) at seaworld.
Springfield and Transformers opened at Universal Orlando.

and Disney opened a Starbucks.

Hey it's a Starbucks complete with a Disney Experience. So instead of me having to wait 15 mins in line to spend 4 dollars on a coffee drink I'll have to wait 30 mins in line to spend 6.50 for the same thing. But hey Mickey is gonna put my name on the cup and I could always get a Fastpass 6 months in advance for it.
