Transformers: The Ride opening date

@HTF I'm at USF and there is literally 7 Transformers TM at the entrance and 3 at the exit in the gift shop ... will there be softs today?

No softs sorry I just saw this. Until the VTU's are fixed and the electrical issues within the RV's are resolved there will not be softs. The VTU issues must be fixed as that cuts down capacity nearly half.

Alright so Team Member previews are tonight from 7PM to 10PM and tomorrow morning from 7AM to 9AM. Expect softs to start tomorrow as long as everything goes well with the preview. Also Optimus started his installation last night and is sitting next to the building in 4 pieces. It will take a total of 4 overnights to finish the job and what your seeing below is his right hand sticking straight out over the top of the temp walls.

We should be seeing a soft opening soon.

The statue looks great in person, very tall. But I did get to ride tonight, one of the last 8 or so people let into single riders. I think they had it open to the public slightly less than an hour toward park close, and it got crowded pretty quick. Best ride on the resort, and including Spiderman and Forbidden Journey 3 of the best rides anywhere are there.

Soft Opens started last night at 7:19pm. I was in the second car load of non-TMs.

I love this ride. Yes, there are similarities with Spider-man, but this is a fantastic ride in it's own right. A great addition to the resort.

Rode it twice during softs last night. "Similarity" to Spider-man is an understatement--this is Aladdin to Spidey's Dumbo. That said, the graphics seems bigger and crisper, and the more realistic style worked even better for me than the cartoons in Spidey. Great queue, as well; a lot to look at, and entertaining videos to set up the premise.

A home run, easily. Cars were cheering as they pulled into exit. And amazing that it was built in under a year.

I was completely underwhelmed riding this at USH due to this fact. Is really is exactly the same as Spider-Man with different graphics. I was hoping they would take Spider-Man and build and improve on it, but it felt like the same exact ride.

That being said, I still like it. I was just hoping for more.

I'm happy that if Uni is copying they are copying E-tickets rather than D-ticket spinners ... I'd be thrilled if Disney dropped Indiana Jones Ride in DHS, which we all know is a copy of Dinosaur ...

Don't misunderstand, I'm glad they built it. (And yeah, I'd love Indiana Jones in DHS or even Adventureland). But if you've ridden Spidey enough times you can do the script by heart--or I imagine if you were to do both rides in the same day--it becomes obvious it's the same vehicle on largely the same track. Still fun, but no getting around that.

ETA--I thought Dumbo was the quintisential C-ticket ... and they cloned it in the same park!
