tram accident

the website tmz.com is reporting that there was an accident involving a tram at Disney ... the details are a little confusing as they say it was at Magic Kingdom and also say Anaheim PD was not involved .... local news here in Orlando didn't have anything .... has anyone heard anything??

I'm guessing that TMZ are referring to Disneyland as the Magic Kingdom.

The incident occurred at DLR. From what I understand, the tram took a turn a little wide and the last car struck a pole causing sever damage to the roof and side of the car. Guests were treated for minor scrapes and bruises.

Last week while at WDW I kept noticing how fast those things go around the corners. At MK coing from the parking lot under the bridge they turn a sharp left before turning around to pick up/drop off guests. More than once I saw several guests have to quickly jump out of the way of them as they didn't see them coming until the last second. The noise is one thing that gives it away but in that spot they come out of there so quickly.

Ugh. It wasn't fun at all (it doesn't help that it was in the 90s yesterday). I hate Mickey and Friends. I was so bummed when the DCA expansion was/is going into Timon. I mean, I'm glad it's expanding, but Mickey and Friends is so far away and makes you walk further...not something you want after a day in DL. :lol: So far, no construction yet in Timon, but they rarely use it now.

Did you ever think the way you said it might have been offensive to some? I don't know as I didnt see it before removal but to say a Admin deleted your remarks for glory are a little over the top as is your use of the big letters in your post.I have had my post deleted a time or two but I sure as heck don't attack a admin as maybe they felt it was wrong.Its their right to do this.

I didn't delete anything and neither did any of the other mods. When I posted my message it was the first reply. :shrug:

Let me also point out that my post was made 3rd May 2008, 20:20 . Your "deleted" post was made Yesterday (may 4), 03:56
