Nothing. It's a weak rumor that our friend here wanted to informally bring up on the first post.

When is the Astro Orbiter being demolished? :lookaroun

Or how about Dino-Rama? Pretty please!

Darn, just when I was hoping the whole 20,000 Leagues Toon Town expansion/ reinvention was about to take place.

Seriously... a cartoon land sounds so much more fun than it currently is or could be. I hope it does get some rides and a makeover soon. I know there are some fun spots for kids but nothing major.

Considering how cheaply Dino-Rama was made, I think that a good solid push is all you would need to knock the entire mini-land over!

Toontown

I wouldn't mind too much if they took Toontown's station down. I hate stopping there. I think Toontown could offer so much more than it does now. I like all of the lands but really find toontown to be anticlimatic. Sure it's for kids but I think this is another situation where money's just being placed in other things.

Toon Town smells! It smells like dirty diapers and cheerios. If you don't have kids, don't go. You get clostrophobic REAL fast. It's good if you really want to get your picture made with Mickey though.

Toon Town at DL is much, much better...I agree with spidy, there is so much that they could do with Toon Town Fair at WDW....the money just has to be there...one thing though I think if they ever replace the lagoon and make that whole area part of toon town fair, it should be interesting to see how they do the transition between Fantasyland and the fair...

Are you saying you wish this was gone? Do you mind if I ask why? I consider it to be as much of a Tomorrowland staple as Space Mountain, and as far as spinners go, the only one I actually enjoy riding.

Besides, it's not like the real estate could be put to much better use.

The lagoon already has plans to be used in the next couple of years. It is part of the whole Project Gemini thing where each park is getting something new. As far as I've heard, in the next few years some sort of Little Mermaid attraction will be added in the lagoon.

Well that accounts for some of 20,000 Leagues, but what about the ride building.

Demolish Tomorrowland Speedway too. Plenty of expansion room there. :fork: :D

I like the station for one reason - get off the train before Toontown Fair opens and you get to be first in line to meet Mickey at his house. Toontown Fair does need to be fixed up.

I dont know if they'll do away with the speedway and I dont know if they should. it's sort of nice. I think they should work on it though. They should somehow make it a little more fun for the bigger crowd but keep it cool for the kids.

About the building for the lagoon, im sure it will be used. They have plans for the whole lagoon area and im sure the building with it.

Just imagine what fun we'd have if Disney just used "House of Mouse" properly...

A CM told me that they were going to demolish Toon Town Fair station due to rusting of the station. Evidently it is in too bad of shape to be fixed. Taking down the old station and building a new one is supposed to start some time this year.
