Trading Park Hoppers for Annual Passes

Hi! We are planning a trip to Disney in December. :xmas: We bought 8-day park hopper passes from UndercoverTourist.com back in July. We recently became Disney Vacation Club members and wanted to purchase the discounted annual passes available trough DVC. Will we be able to trade our park hopper passes at one of the guest service locations for annual passes and pay the difference? Or will they be able to tell we purchased the tickets from Undercover Tourist and not let us? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

from undercover tourist's own FAQ page:

Are the tickets the same as the ones from the park gates?

Exactly the same but they cost you less and you do not have to wait in line. They are REAL tickets NOT vouchers. We also offer free shipping and excellent customer service.

Upgrade or Change the ticket?

Please do so at the customer service/guest services window at the theme park.
We recommend you do this process at one of the main 4 parks e.g. for Disney at Disney's Animal Kingdom®, Disney-MGM Studios, Epcot®, Magic Kingdom®

The only thing I don't know is whether you can upgrade to annual passes with the dvc discount.

Thanks for your quick response. I should have thought to look at their FAQs...... I emailed DVC and they said that I would be able to upgrade the tickets to the DVC annual passes at one of the customer service areas. I just didn't know if the Undercover Tourist tickets were different. Thanks for your help!!!

we did it

we exchanged our 7 day passes for annual passes after doing some reading we were informed that we should use the tickets one time before trading them in. I guess they can tell how much you paid for them before you use them but once you use them you get credited for whatever the price is for the remaining days. we bought our 7 day passes before the prices went up and even after using one day we got more money back then what we actually paid for the tickets so it worked out great for us.
