Toy Story Mania to Open Late May 2008

Disney has now said offically that WDW's TSM will open late May, with the DCA version opening late June.

I would bet that it is probably a soft opening, as that is how Disney has traditionally done it in the recent past.

This just in from our friends at Walt Disney World. The opening date for the upcoming attraction Toy Story Mania has been more defined a bit. Instead of "Summer 2008," as previously advertised, the new interactive, shoot-em-up ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios, is now set for a "late May" opening.

The version at Disney's California Adventure will open in late June, they say.

We caught a soft opening for EE, too! That was in January/February with the official opening being in like April or May (I think). I'm really crossing my fingers for an early May soft opening for TSM!!!

Ummmm...I don't think so. Cast isn't going to be trained in awhile, and there really is no "back door" they can get guests through to right now.

Dang, I wish it'd soft open in April like some people have said it would. Ill be there next month, and if I miss it by a few days, Ima be mad. But I can catch it in July.

Cast Previews and Soft openings WILL start April 25 with DVC and Passholder Previews starting the first or second week of May.
