I pre-ordered on Amazon, does anyone know if there will be a mode that's similar to the ride or will it just be similar in concept?

I've also seen on Amazon that they're recommending the precision assist (Wii Motion Plus). Has anyone purchased this for another game? Is it any good?

The WII game is going to be very much like the iPod version. You will not have the theme park version unless it is an Easter Egg because they don't want to make it the same as he theme park version. Most people will be upset that it is not the same thing, but really if you did have the game at home how many people would wait in a two hour line for something they can turn on any time at home?

Wii motion plus is excellent, but it only works with games made to take advantage of it. I don't think that Toy Story Mania for Wii can make use of the Wii motion plus, so don't buy it for that.

Yea I was trying to see where I was going to preorder it from. I usually dont reserve games, and this will be my first, but I think Im gonna preorder it at gamestop. They have bonus toy story mania faceplates for the wii motes that seem cool, and I want em lol.

Yea, most of the games are different and I think thats a good thing. I think this will go good with the ride and wont really take away from it. At first I was hoping it would be a replacement for me so I wont want to ride it anymore, but at mgm its a ride experience with all the 4d effects and cool stuff in the line so I cant see how the wii game could replace it. But either way I cant wait to get this game.

I just downloaded the app for my iphone and love it. For 5 bucks it is pretty good. The graphics are basic but nothing that bad. As far as the video games replacing the attraction it is not going to happen. The games are not in 3D and you don't have any of the sensory effects. (other then seeing of course).

The iPhone game is a lot of fun but the high score doesn't seem to work right. And, yes, the reloading is annoying. But definitely worth the $5.

it's worth the $5...it's similar to ride in some aspects but it is a great app to add to your iphone or itouch...i'm looking forward to getting the game for wii

I wanted to download the game for my trip this past weekend but I was having problems connecting to wifi the day I left and unfortunately I missed out on it. It was 50 megs so too big to download over the air.

incidentally, there was a fix posted for those with 1st generation iPod Touch's.. It says to download the new version and reinstall it.

I still have no idea who that is in my living room in the potato head costume:shrug:....
