Toy Story Land - the Landlocked Land

Anyone else notice the "landlocked" feel of TSL? While it's clearly temporary as it will change when Star Wars Land opens, it does creates a bit of a traffic flow challenge heading in, and back out. While it is manageable, it is very noticeable.....

What other issues to you see with TSL?

I assume the blacktop area behind/beside the Alien Saucers will be where TSL is unlocked to the new Star Wars land?

Pardon me of not being well versed....how will one enter Galaxy's edge? One way street that flows in to TSL?

There are two entrances/exits for Galaxy's Edge. Grand Avenue (by Muppets) and TSL.

However, it is very possible that if GE reaches capacity they may close off one of these and simply use it as an exit. If that happens, TSL would be even more crowded.

Does beg wonder how it will work once it opens as the masses will think that going through TSL to shortcut it through only to be dissapointed that CM's will be wrangling and are going to tell guests that they would have to be redirected to Grand Ave to enter..

Just wait until Galaxy's Edge opens and the only way out is right into TSL. You'll wish for it to be landlocked again.
Most of my cast member friends expect the exit for Galaxy's Edge for the first few months to be the old Pixar Place (currently Metroville) for crowd control purposes. This will involve a little bit of a backstage walk. Similar to when Hogsmeade at Universal hits capacity and you're routed backstage from Jurassic Park to the Lost Continent or when they open up the backstage bypass of Main Street USA.

To say nothing of the masses who want to get on the Toy Story rides.

That would work.

DHS CM's will have to be out in force controlling the massive wall of guests moving into, out of and through the areas. If you thought the walkways were jammed from guests going to/ waiting for 7DMT, Avatarland, TSL, that will nothing compared with wave of bodies flowing in for the opening of SW.

Wait, so that's actually the plan?!
Pass. It would avoid dumping more people into what will undoubtedly already be an at capacity TSL, filled with people who can’t get into SWL. They’d just have to work around the needs of the backstage road. I can see it being a short term solution.

So........the plan was not to have the masses flow freely between the two Lands? I had no idea.

If you can pass from one to the other, it would only be one way? The CMs stationed at the exit from SWGE to TSL will be expected to not let anyone enter SWGE/exit TSL?

Or is the plan the keep TSL and SWGE both Landlocked? With SWGE having a situational exit through Pixar?

Of course assuming this would be temporary and subject to improvement......

For the first few months, there will be no flowing of guests anywhere near SW:GE. ;)

There could be a queue of 3-4 hours or more just to get into the land, unless you have an FP. Even then you may only be allowed in a certain time before the FP.

Whatever crowd control policies they come up with, the crowds will be insane.
