Based on the current information that we have, does anyone have a general idea of when Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios will open specifically? I know it is next summer, but I was wondering if anyone had a more specific idea.

I think the expectation is that it will open officially on or near the first day of summer with various previews and soft openings in the months leading up to that.

The general idea is Memorial Day weekend.
Would it be safe to assume that it should be open by the end of June?

It's extremely likely, but I will always caution people about planning vacations around the opening of a new attraction since you never know what will happen.

I'll go with yesterday. What do I win? Heck, all they have to do is tons of landscaping, finish a number of buildings, inside and out, pave walking areas over a number of acres, do all the finish work inside and out. Heck, I'm pretty sure that will be done so fast that it is just Disney dragging their feet, it's practically done already.

That's what I was going to say. With one exception... I say it will actually open at 9:05 because one of the new CM's didn't know where the on off switch was located. By the time a supervisor gets there it is just a tad later then 9 am.
I would have said that except that with Pandora, they opened the Friday before so that it's open for the whole Memorial Day Weekend.
I'd also go with an early opening time.
But my guess has been in my sig for a while now.
