I dropped the ball on this thread and have not been keeping up with updating the main page. We had a few last minute guesses of 6/29 and 7/1 but nobody guessed 6/30. Shout out to @cosmicgirl and @BraveGirl for being so close. I guess @HauntedMansionFLA is the winner since he had “the field”. For those not familiar with the game of craps when you make a field bet you win if the dice come up anything other than 5, 6, 7 or 8 (which are the most likely numbers to come up, along with 9). I thought all the good dates were taken in this contest but this thing is opening later then a lot of us thought it would so the field bet came through.
While I think TSL looks nice, I can’t wait for SW Land. When we get closer to 2019 I’ll start a SW opening date contest.

Thanks for putting together this fun contest. I agree. This is only the beginning of good things for DHS. This will be a fun land to visit. I can’t wait for Star Wars Land. It's not to late to say that I had a dream and I was told in that dream that the opening day would be June 30, 2018. Now that we have a solid answer to the question perhaps we can start to speculate on when it will actually open.

The contest is to guess the actual opening date, which could change between now and the announced date.

That what I said, different words perhaps. It can carry on the way it is, but, the original was with the premise that there had been no announcement about it at that point. So now we are pretty sure that it will not open officially before June 30th anyone that guessed a date before that can now give it another try.
