Based on these comments I just checked the wait times in the app.
  • A.S.S. - 50 mins
  • TSM - 60 mins
  • SDD - 100 mins
This is really surprising for day 2 of a new land. And gives me hope for getting on these rides with relative ease once Silver Passes aren't blacked out again.

This is good news. These rides shouldn’t be hovering at crazy waits. They are there to finally add more attractions most anyone can ride, and round out the parks roster a bit better. I hope A.S.S. gets into Mater wait time regions eventually.

Other people coming up with nutty explanations don’t discredit Len’s original question.

The numbers are an estimate created by AECOM Economics. The TEA funds and publishes this work which was previously funded by Amusement Business prior to that publication’s collapse. The TEA itself is largely a volunteer organization with only a few actual staff members.

I’m assuming it is as simple as DHS getting more turns than the other parks. Just speculation, but going back to the half day Park narrative, there is a morning turn of guests and a night turn of guests. This thought process could make both the TEA and Len’s numbers correct.

Just got off Slinky Dog a few minutes ago. What a fantastic ride for the little ones. I love it! Not very thrilling by any means imo but it was definitely fun and very very cute. Got in what was to be a 2 hour line and a guy walks right up to us and says he has a parent swap and asks if we want to join him. 25 minutes later we were riding. The dude is my new best friend! :)

Here's what I'm going to say. I liked this land more than I thought I would! It has tons of little details from the lights in the AS S queue to the light poles. I enjoyed both attractions, especially Slinky's amazing views of SWL.View attachment 293467View attachment 293468View attachment 293469
Same here! We had a blast tonight. We loved the little details like the popsicle stick and domino benches, the giant pencils and straws, the cooties...all awesome. It was all very well done and just a happy place to spend a couple hours. We arrived at 7 and were able to do all three rides, have dinner, watch the fireworks (terrible view cause we got there too late but oh well), and ride ToT. Btw, what happened to all the big fireworks? No more big shells even in the finale? When did they drop them from the show? We haven’t been to DHS for a few months so this is probably really old news but that was the only disappointing part of our evening.
