Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I was just reading an article/photo report on MiceChat about Toy Story Land and this was one of the headings under a photo...

"Disney confirmed with us that the Pixar Place area will stay open for some time, but will eventually permanently close since the entrance and exit to Midway Mania are now in Toy Story Land."

LINK: https://micechat.com/197802-datelin...-at-disneys-hollywood-studios-toy-story-land/

What would they do with the area? The only things that would remain is the Cars meet n' greet and the store?
According to what I know Cruz Ramirez last day is tomorrow unless it’s changed in the last week.

I watched one on Youtube just now from Themeparkreview.

There was your first mistake.
...
Not because it was inaccurate, of course, but because Robb Alvey and Theme Park Review are the biggest dbags in the industry.

Rule 1: Don’t click on clickbait corless news.
Rule 2: Never watch a theme park review video.
Rule 3: Stick to wdwmagic for all your theme park ramblings. We love you and you love us.
You’ve been here long enough Ski. You know this! :)

This might be the first time in 22 years of following this site that a WDWMagic post made me stand up at my desk and applaud the monitor.

I hang my head in shame and beg forgiveness. I fell for #2.

What's the schedule for TSL today? Are there more media events or might we see a soft opening? I see TSM currently has a 70 min queue...

Few oddities that haven't been poured over. They really should've used the actual box design as the entrance marquee to Slinky Dog Dash. They got the logo and "by James Industries" part combined with the Toy Story revised look of Slinky. This is the kind of accuracy they were recently gloating about spending so much money on, yet it's oddly absent in certain places. Heck it is more accurate in the cheaper TSLs.

And I do like the Astro Blasters blaster in the queue for A*S*S, though a Space Ranger Spin blaster might've been a better choice. The decision to even include a space-looking ride in TSL on top of that has me confused. I there aren't plans to remove SRS simply because idiots who conflate brand and theme can't understand how a Toy Story ride outside of Toy Story Land could ever possibly make sense.
