But with 7am EMH, what's the strategy? Your plan works great for a regular 8am opening.

But if you do A.S.S and TSMM at 7am, then you may well be able to ride SD soon after 8am. then what? By then the lines will have grown.

Do we know if the EMH is just for TSL or for the whole park? I guess if the whole park, then you could then head to RnR or ToT and try one without FP.

You’d ride SDD at 8am with your first fastpass and follow the strategy as normal (trying to move up RNRC in this case). If you can’t, then you’d just take your time from 8:15-9:45 riding Star Tours 10 times or whatever else you want to do. Then plan on riding RNRC as your 9am-10am closer to 10am and ToT 10am-11am immediately afterwords. You should still be out by 10:20.

The moral of my post was- get in, get out. It’ll be a breeze to knock out all of the new attractions as well as headliners in 3 hrs and make your way to a more enjoyable park.

Maybe if he didn’t rush through everything he’d enjoy more.

That makes sense. Except for the last bit. I happen to still enjoy DHS, and don't ride RnR or ToT! But I was still interested in the strategy!

I love the Indy show, and Star Tours. And the street performers and storm troopers. And no way could I ever miss OMD, except if it's a second day there on the same trip. Which there always is. Next time I'll try the Frozen show, which I hear is hilarious.

Latest aerial photos of Toy Story Land from Bioreconstruct on Twitter:

Above: The DVC kiosk seems larger than most. Hopefully, it will feature some nice aesthetics that, when combined with additional trees on both sides of that entrance walkway, make it pleasant and at least somewhat aesthetically pleasing.

Check out the banked turn in the last photo. It’s steeper than I realized from prior images. Hopefully, the train will also be moving fast enough to provide moderate thrills there.

Look at the detail work on SDD. The retaining walls have been decorated, there's been some detailing on the front of the building, more and more fence decor is appearing, and A.S.S is nearly done with the roof. It's a slow pace, but it's a pace with noticable change.

Yeah ok. But for a moment (before the opening announcement) it felt like they took up the pace IMO. I think all those decorated walls will make the land feel much better and complete than the toy story lands we’ve already got.

Does anyone know how they do the artwork? Do they paint it on the spot or do they have pannels or cloth or something like that? Is it painted or printed on?

It's looking good to me. Theming already looks much better than what Paris has. I'm looking forward to the land and I think kids will like it.

My major gripe though is that they are having Buzz, Woody and Jessie doing meet and greets. That just doesn't make any sense. It should just be the green army men

I know meet and greets aren't popular around here, but my family and I enjoy interacting with the Toy Story characters. I, personally, was thrilled to see that Jessie was coming back to TSL, after being cut and missing (besides MISI) for a year and a half. The army men are fun as a supplement, but the land wouldn't be the same without Woody, Buzz and Jessie. Regardless of scale, personal interactions with favorite characters do make a positive difference, and it wouldn't make sense to exclude them.

A pic from Bioreconstruct. I like the price sticker on the Rex box in the background.

What I'm going to be looking for is whether or not the scaled props seem legit. Will that sticker look stuck on, or is it just painted along with the rest. Do the wood blocks and Lincoln logs look like wood? Will some of these items have teeth marks on them (Andy plays rough, but he seems to keep his toys in good shape, but don't forget he had a baby sister. I want plastic elements to show signs of flashing from the moulds they came from. Cardboard should look like cardboard and show some wear especially at the corners. The giant tinker toy box should show a lot of wear around the top rim as that lid would have come on and off repeatedly. One thing I noticed in the Shanghai version of their land was some Erector Set parts, seen here in a pic from Attractions Magazine:

I hope this land gets them as well, but have seen no evidence of that.

Looking forward to seeing the final product someday.
