Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I wonder if the openness is out of a desire to maximize walking space.

Perhaps somebody knew that the budget for an extra attraction wasn’t going to materialize, and went to bat for some extra room on what would otherwise be empty space?

If TSL theming is brought out to those walls, then where does it stop? This is a forum that would then complain, "Why did they stop at the corners? Why couldn't they have framed the entrance?

To anyone who is surprised there is no theming in that walkway, you weren't paying attention to the model.

I don't like it either. I was hoping that they were going to build a tunnel like they are doing in Galaxy's Edge.

I don't like it either. I was hoping that they were going to build a tunnel like they are doing in Galaxy's Edge.

I know this is way out there, but, if you were heading for Andy's back yard would you not pass by a building to get there? As for paint, it opens in 3 months... I don't know if anything more is going to be done, but, it is possible that like a lot of the park it really isn't done yet. Try waiting until they are done before you run after the designers with torches and pitchforks.
