Yep! DHS was a 1/2 day park for us (if that...) and AK was another 1/2 day park. With all of these additions, we're now talking probably a full day for these parks. MK is still a full 2 day park (sometimes 2 1/2 day), and epcot is a 1 - 1 1/2 day park. So, there's our 7 night/8 day trip. Gone is the extra day for UNI! And, I'm okay with that!!
I'm always curious about 1/2 day parks. I've never spent the whole day at 1 park, always moving between parks. To me, MK is a half day park, always prefer the 4-12 time as the lines become shorter. Besides, breaking up a day with a boat or monorail ride is a nice way to relax.

2016-17 and 2019-20.
Martin, it's interesting to see you say that, with a bunch of folks saying that TSL won't open until 2018 (the rumor seemingly started by Robert Niles and oft repeated but it seems he was just guessing and didn't have any specific info).

Personally, it seems likely to me that TSL will be fast-tracked given the desperate need for attraction capacity at DHS and so it can allow them to close LMA and Indy for other development. With the relatively simplicity of the land and rides and since they have built similar lands before, my gut reaction was a late 2016/early 2017 opening but others don't seem to think that is possible due to moving of backstage buildings.

The word fast track scares the ?!)$&@ out of me. We need quality at what ever time it takes. If they rush this in and they cut corners it will disappoint and be very bad. I would love to see it soon but not at the cost of quality and the wow factor.

It at least answers back the Harry Potter rides but it has to impress. If they do it right they topped uni in shear volume AK DHS and MK will have hopefully ver immersive lands. Long way to go but it's refreshing to hear they are recognizing the problems and addressing them. The worst thing that could happen is that they rush to get it open and cut corners.

Avatarland is the answer to Harry Potter.

RE: The name for the current DHS. They should not change much of Hollywood Boulevard and go with "Disney's Hollywood". The theme here is that it is based on movies and things you would find there.

there is so much that can be taped from a Hollywood movie based park. Please don't touch the boulevard, I love the feel when you first walk in.
