Toy Story 4

At first, I was a bit puzzled over the decision to create yet another TS movie. However, after giving a little thought, I think I'm ok with it, based entirely on the "chemistry" between the principal characters and the back up cast. Much like Star Trek or Walking Dead or any number of shows/movies, it's the interaction between the characters (along with great writing) that keep me interested in a given show or film. I think Tom Hanks/Woody and Tim Allen/Buzz make an absolutely fantastic "buddy" team. Like Donkey and Shrek or Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy, they just work. So, as long as the stories stay fun and engaging, I'm good with it. Just my thought on it.

Tom Hanks says final scene will mark "Moment in film history". He also got very emotional during the final recording session.

I have watched all of the movies probably well over 100 times. They were my kids faves and now my grandson. I still no matter what, or how many times- at the ending of 3 stop and sit and watch it and cry like a baby. If this one is going to be more emotional than 3- I cannot even imagine how hard I am going to cry.

The original treatment we heard for this movie was that it was a Bo Peep - Woody love story.

So the fact she didn't show up in the marketing at all, but instead Forkie seemed like perhaps the entire thing was thrown out and redone.

I guess elements did at least resurface.

I'm sure that's still the story. Hanks and Allen has stated how emotional the film is, if I had to take a guess, it has something to do with Bo's story. Perhaps, in the end Woody decides to ride off into the sunset with her. Finishing off Woody's story.
