Tower of Terror - a NEW Dimension of Chills

In late 2019 WDSP Tower of Terror had a makeover, a plussing, and 3 new stories taking the original backstory further. With the Covid lockdowns it got lost in the mess but now I’ve been back enough times (!) to make the video I wanted to. With some help since I didn’t break the no photography rules.

Wow! Those are some quality updates! With the intense blandification of stateside Disney over the last two decades, its nice to know Imagineering can still do creepy if they're allowed to!

Those are all great! I love the use of the Idol's laugh from the Tokyo version as the creatures in the dark. Also love how they play with the hallway set reappearing differently. My only complaint is the lack of Rod (Mark) in the attraction. Even just keeping his ending "welcome back" would be enough IMO.

To be honest at first I was worried there’d be a new Mark-less preshow since we first rode this version during covid when the preshow was skipped. But last November we got the full library and happy to say the old preshow - which is still playing merrily now.

Such a great update to the ride! Haven't been back since Covid, but did get to experience it in October 2019. Disneyland Paris seems one of the few Disney resorts that still springs these surprises on you.

ToT was my favourite ride of the resort and placed itself even further apart from the rest post update. Every program I’ve gotten so far has been more thrilling than the original program which is so great!

Just finished watching this. Fantastic!! Everything was just top notch. The audio in the boiler room was outstanding.

We never even saw most of the outside queue when we visited in 2018, that part kind of surprised me.

Just got to experience the new version and I was impressed. While I love WDW's original and horizontal components, I would like to see some of this storyline and effects to appear at WDW.
