We were pretty disappointed with how "off" the levels were a couple of weeks ago. I kept checking even while in the parks- e.g. while in MK, crowd level said 2.4 but there were hour long waits for all the typical popular rides.

Count me in as another fan of touring plans. Possibly others are not aware, they have been updating their system and software and have readily admitted to some glitches in their system lately. But stay tuned, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I think a subscription to their website is worth it, and I use it before heading up to get a general idea of the crowd levels for that day.

But I would be careful on putting 100% faith in their numbers, as they can be off quite a bit on occasion. I've also seen the predicted crowd levels change drastically on the day of, which defeats the purpose of using the site ahead of time to plan your day.

Unless you are going soon and getting to enjoy their inaccuracies. Or going within 180 days and getting to enjoy their inaccuracies as you book dining. Or going in 60 days and getting to enjoy their inaccuracies when booking Fastpass+. Well worth $12...

I suppose it's the same with FP+, MM+, MDE, TP, etc. Haters gonna hate, lovers gonna love.
I love trite cliches.

I have never hated TouringPlans. It was very useful in days of yore; it is currently frustrating and I think it is important for anyone thinking of purchasing a year's access to know of the current issues. When/if they are fixed, I'm sure it'll be back to the status quo.

I've had the levels be off once or twice but most of the time they are accurate for me. I love the app as well. I've had a subscription for a few years and I've never regretted it. It helps me plan ahead. :)

What's that? You love me? Aw, thanks!

Touringplans' update is absolutely horrible! It was so user friendly before, now they have so much stuff all over each pages, you dont even know where to look.... and talk about 'totally confusing' how the crowd levels are marked during the day....what were they thinking!! They even removed some pages I use to use all the time. Sad, sad, sad....

They no longer have best and worst parks for each day. They explanation of the new layout and system states that you should just look at the park with the lowest crowd level for that day.

I will miss that, but I am not sure yet if I will like the new layout more or less than the old one. Looking at it today, right now I like it better (except for the lack of best and worst parks). I have not looked at it on the app yet.

Anyone know what touring plans says for next week?

You can typically see the next few days for free on their website without a subscription, I believe. For the price for an entire year, it's really not a bad investment. Just don't count on the numbers. Like I mentioned before, on my trip in May, it said Epcot had a 1.2 or something like that one day...it was about an 8 or a 9. I was a passholder for many years and have been 20+ times in the past 5 years, so I know crowd levels. How can you be so off as to put a 1.anything and it's really an 8 or 9? That shows a severe flaw, imho.

There are so many free apps out there that provide the same info. (As well as the official Disney app).
Wdw is busy year round now. It's part of the Disney experience.
Why not embrace MM+ if u want to know which park u will be in with little wait time?
Last trip I went with minimal planning and reservations and had no problem eating where I wanted and riding what I wanted. I would never pay for a service like this when I could get the info for free. Plus I like spontaneity.
