Hi Everybody!!

So the DH and are planning on next vaca today and has anyone taken this tour? It states on the wdw website that it includes lunch - I am assuming that if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, this does not count against you. Also, it includes "stops at a variety of favorite attractions." I am assuming that you get to ride these rides??

We are wanting to take a tour this time around. Which is your favorite?? It also says No Cameras - I know that is b/c we go "behind the scenes?" but do they stop you from taking pics when you are out and about in the park?

Thanks so much!!

I assume you mean the Keys to the Kingdom tour.
-Yes, you get lunch, and it has nothing to do with the dining plan.

-You stop at several attractions, most just to talk about. You only actually ride about 2.

-Not sure how they are handling the camera issue now days. Last time I took that tour you could take a camera for photos in the park, but all cameras had to be put away before going backstage.

I did Key's to the Kingdom last year....They do let you take camera's just have to put them away when you are 'off-stage'....It's one of the best tours - I am sure you will love it :animwink:

Lunch is included in the tour price.

They don't allow any cellphones or cameras out when you're backstage. They also limit answering certain questions until they're backstage (incase anyone overhears and it spoils the magic)

We took the Keys to the Kingdom tour last December. It is awesome and well worth the money. In regards to the cameras back stage, The CM told us that they have a right to take it and delete the photos. You also go in the Utilidors (down below or as you will learn on the tour "at the actual ground level"), I thought that part was kind of boring, I enjoyed learning the information about the rides and park itself. I thought that we would see them working on costumes or something more then the Cast Member's time clock & lockers. But overall it is a great day event. I will absolutely do it again. :ROFLOL:

At one time the entire MK costume department was in the Utilidors. That's where it was when I took my Keys tour. We were taken through the racks upon racks of costumes on our way to the Wig Room.

They moved Costuming back to the area near Cast Parking north of the park. Now, I believe the only Costuming still under the park is Character, and possibly Entertainment.

I know that character costuming is still located in the utilidors, but Im not sure about entertainment costuming. I only saw the character costuming room during one of my costuming classes, they never made mention of entertainment costuming.
