With 7 & 9 y.o. girls what are your top suggestions for character meals/dinner shows?

We're at the Poly, so I'm already asssuming Ohana's for breakfast & Spirit of Aloha, but would like to hit 3-4 more during our trip.

Cinderella's Royal Table for the princesses
Crystal Palace for Winnie the Pooh and friends
Chef Mickey's for Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale
Hoop Dee Doo is a fun show

Hope this helps a little. I'm sure you'll get lots of great ideas from others!:D

Hoop dee doo is a must! It's very corny and silly, but even the most stone faced will find themselves laughing out loud. The characters are marvelous. The actors playing them will vary, but I've never seen anyone in that show who didn't give 110% to the performance. The food is easy to love ribs, chicken, salad, beans, etc... real BBQ eats.

There are several clips from the show on youtube. Take a look and then make your reservations as early as you can. Hoop Dee Doo is very popular and sells out.

Any of them are good, but with girls you'll probably want Cinderella's. My son and nephews all like Liberty Tree Tavern, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace and Donald's Breakfastasaurous

Here is a link to all of the different character dinning locations as well as a link to a chart that will tell you where each character will be at.
You really can not go wrong with any of them but I have found Cinderella's royal table to be quite a bit overrated. Sure it great you are eating in the castle, Cinderella's there blah, blah, blah, but the Princess Breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot is much better. Reservations are fairly easy to get, there are more princesses there, you seem to have more time with them and the cost is less.

Crystal Palace is my favorite. Last time we went, we saw Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore. They all took time to pose for pictures and sign autographs at each tables, which I thought was great!

You'll have a blast at Hoop Dee Doo!!! Interaction with the audience is a hoot!! - unless, of course, you get really embarrassed easily - then it's even more of a "hoot"! :ROFLOL:

The Hoop De Doo song is just as infectious as Its a Small World...We went in January, and my little boy (3yo) out of the blue will start singing..."Hoop De Dooo.....Hoop De Doo".

It's funny because I've actually never been, but I watched an episode of "Great Hotels" where Samantha Brown was at Wilderness Lodge and they featured HDDR and the song gets stuck in my head in just that few minutes alone!

I am normally a behind the scenes type of guy but I really like the spotlight when it is put on me especially if I have a glass of a certain yellow frothy adult beverage. We have tier one seating so we should be right in the thick of things. I'll make sure that the wife takes pictures and or video so all of you can see what a red Yoda looks like.
