Top 5 Rides in Orlando

Can't wait to add my list here after October. I'm pretty excited that anything that wasn't in MK or Epcot in 2000 will be new to me. And anything that WAS there and is still there is extremely vintage and will be fun to experience again! :) (My list will be limited to Disney parks this time. When we went in 2000 we only went to MK and Epcot - anything that wasn't on the monorail wasn't on our radar at that time. So we need to do AK and DHS - next time maybe we'll fit in Universal too. )

AS one would expect , almost all the choices are thrill rides...........and that kind of sad.........any designer can build a stomach turning drop ride.

When its all said and done nothing beats Disney Magic.

Well I have to admit Potter is pretty dam good!

So what if they are thrill rides? There is FAR more to all the rides being chosen as top than just the fact that they are thrill rides. TOT wouldn't be what it is without the story. If it were just a boring drop ride, I'd pass it by. Mummy has a incredible amount of stuff going on. So does Splash. Spider-Man is one of the best in the world (and I only gave it an honorable mention). I could go on. So no, not any designer could do those rides, especially the ones at Universal and Disney. The thrill is added fun.

Also, when all is said and done, based on people's choices here, quite a few things beat Disney Magic... Just sayin'.

I do not consider Spider-Man to be a thrill ride.

But I do like thrill rides. They're fun. :)

Like others said, the thrill isn't the winning factor. Harry Potter isn't a thrill ride, nor do I count Spider Man. Mummy sure. Tower of Terror is getting lots of votes (I put it second) and I'd bet you most are for the building, music, queue, etc. I hate the actual ride (don't like drop zone type rides) but I'd walk through that lobby and boiler room any day. I've walked with family through and exited before they load, so that's sure not my reason for picking a ride.

Okay I am officially lost now. OP said Orlando, so was that a play on words meaning WDW is in Kissimmee. Help! lol
He meant all of Orlando, which includes Uni, Sea World and even zip lines and slingshots. Everything. :)

You were getting teased about selecting Toy Story. ;) But if you love it, you do!! Nothing wrong with that. Kraken is my favorite and never seems to make anyone's list. :)
