Top 5 Rides in Orlando

1.) Dinosaur- I am a huge Dinosaur person in general and always have been since I was a little kid! This ride is a secret gem in opinion. Its fast, scary, and exciting all at the same time. Although it may not be a good ride in some peoples mind because its too rough and loud or not as good as INDY...that's ok. I think its great and ITS SUPPOSED TO BE SCARY PEOPLE!....just a little bit at least.

2.)Tower of Terror- Again I guess I love the nervous feeling before I go on rides because this one does it to a perfection! the build-up to the ride and the atmosphere is just incredible. the lighting, music, and detail all play together and blend into a perfect harmony that will make you just nervous enough before getting on the ride itself. Theming is out of this world!

3.) The Great Movie ride- For Me this ride is such a classic ride and incorporates SO many AA figures and show scenes that you have to love it! I have always been into the movies and classic Hollywood so I guess this one hits 3rd place because of my love for the classics.

4.) Splash Mountain- It incorporates my favorite Disney Characters....nuff said really. but honestly the blending of music, show scenes, and a flume ride is brilliantly done. Its fun and whimsical yet also thrilling! A must do IMO.

5.) Spider-man- I will give number five to IOA, although I feel I should give it to Disney but this ride for me is the only UNI ride I could fit in my top 5. VERY FUN RIDE that keeps you anticipated for what's going to happen next!

Some honorable mentions!
Haunted Mansion
Pirates of the Caribbean
Spaceship earth
Expedition Everest
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Space Mountain
RNRC
Harry Potter
The Mummy
Soarin
(cannot add transformers as I have not been on it yet!)

Bairstow is correct. Ripsaw Falls at Universal. Sometimes things get confused between the brain and the keyboard. Thanks for the correction.
Lol, wasn't correcting you. I knew that you either had messed something up or I was missing something, but wasn't sure which! :)

Oh, makes sense.

Ripsaw Falls is fun, and has an awesome facade, but the ride's show scenes are close to terrible. That final drop is amazing though!

I agree. The facade and final drop are great. The middle of the ride is average at best. No water ride can ever touch Splash Mountain's show.

Yes, it's certainly "worse" than Splash. But it's better than pretty much every other log flume created, besides Splash and Timber Mountain Log Ride at Knott's.

I appreciate the way the designers on Ripsaw Falls, rather than trying to outdo or copy Splash Mountain in any real way instead chose to make the ride completely insane and kitschy, much like the Jay Ward cartoons it's based on.

I'm happy to see all the love for Kraken, but I'm mystified that more people are picking it than Manta.
If nothing else, Manta is two attractions in one.

Just depends on what sort of coaster you like better. I love Manta. It's a lot of fun and very smooth, plus it has a kick- queue. But Kraken gives me a better ride. :)

Here's my list in no particular order.
1. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (DHS)
- This ride is not only thrilling, but completely amazing each and every time.
2. Splash Mountain (MK)
- This is Disney to me. It is an amazing mixture of theme, storytelling, music, and a big splash.
3. Revenge of The Mummy (USF)
- A great mixture of a darkride and roller coaster. It's exciting, fun, and different. The queue is pretty amazing too.
4. Kraken (Sea World)
- Hands down the best traditional roller coaster in the Orlando area, make that FL. It packs a punch and although isn't surrounded by theming is still a great ride.
5.The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man (IOA)
- This is just spectacular. It was revolutionary when it opened and still hasn't been matched.
