Top 10 Theme Park Attractions Anywhere

This probably doesn't go in "general discussion", but I couldn't think of where else to place it. So please forgive me.

I normally shy away from the "top 10...." lists, because a couple of pages they just get boring and monotonous. Not really a true conversation, but rather a bunch of lists. Nevertheless, I thought this one might be fun.

So what do you consider your top 10 theme park attractions anywhere? Here are mine:

1. Spiderman - Islands of Adventure
2. Tower of Terror - Disney/MGM
3. Space Mountain - Disneyland
4. Mission: Space - Epcot
5. American Adventure - Epcot
6. Matterhorn Bobsleds - Disneyland
7. Haunted Mansion - Disneyland
8. Pirates of the Caribbean - Disneyland
9. Splash Mountain - Magic Kingdom
10. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Magic Kingdom

Top 10

I am a Disney Freak but #1 in my poll has to be Spiderman.

#2: Splash Mountain - not excitement but just atmosphere
#3: Incredible Hulk
#4: Space Mountain
#5: Pirates of the Caribbean - Again, atmosphere is awesome.
#6: The Hyper Coaster at Pecos Bill Casino on the border of Nevada and California on the interstate between Las Vegas and Los Angeles - Simply amazing and holds some record within the United States.
#7: Mission Space: Great Ride but I just feel it was overhyped a little. Not as exciting as I thought it would be.
#8: Haunted Mansion - Great Atmosphere
#9: Tower of Terror: Great Ride, just short.
#10: Rockin Rollercoaster: Again, great just short.

No I did not place BTMRR on my list. It's just nothing special to me personally.

I go to Great Adventure (six flags) in NJ sometimes, but they don't compare to Disney! I mean, the rides are fun, but........Disney has something more!

Well I have to do two lists (you knew that was coming):

Current Attractions:
1. Tower of Terror (MGM) - It just doesn't get any better.
2. Splash Mountain (MK) - Much more than the drop.
3. The Amazing Adventures of Spider Man (IOA) - Universal's masterpiece.
4. The Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster (IOA) - Best coaster I've been on
5. Rock N Roller Coaster (MGM) - The themeing makes up for lack of thrill.
6. Mission Space (Epcot) - Once again the themeing makes up for the lack of thrill.
7. Test Track (Epcot) - A nice fun thrill ride.
8. Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls (IOA) - It's very funny and has a great queue.
9. Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges (IOA) - Makes Kali look like It's A Small World.
10. Terminator 2: 3-D (USF) - You have to sit in the first couple rows to fully enjoy it.

ALL-TIME ATTRACTIONS:
1. Alien Encounter (MK) - Enough said.
2. Tower of Terror (MGM)
3. Splash Mountain (MK)
4. Spider Man (IOA)
5. Incredible Hulk (IOA)
6. Horizons (Epcot) - Best attraction in Epcot history, IMO. It had it all.
7. Rock N Roller Coaster (MGM)
8. Journey Into Imagination (Epcot) - It took me way too long to realize it's greatness.
9. Mission Space (Epcot)
10. Countdown to Extinction (AK) - I don't care what anyone says, it was more thrilling back then and it was better as well.

Not to be a stinker or anything, but I think the thread was meant to be theme park attractions, not including water parks. I could be wrong though. If I am then please somebody correct me.

I dont' really have an order but here's some rides that I really like.

Batwing- six flags america in MD

Nitro, Medusa, Superman the ride Six Flags Great Adventure.

Kilamonjaro Safari , Buzz Light year spaceranger spin, Muppets 3D, Tower of Terror, Big Thunder Mountain in WDW.
The Poypoe (sp) rafts in IOA

I don't know about a whole list of 10, but I'd think Tower of Terror should have to be on the best of the best list.

Splash Mtn also. It is so vibrant and colorful, yet packs thrills and laughs. Even moreso than the plunge into the briar patch, I enjoy the plunge into the laughin' place. It's dark, steep, and zany. Splash is a great family ride--it has the perfect balance of many integral components that make it a successful ride that the entire family can enjoy.
