10. Great Movie Ride
9. Haunted Mansion
8. Kilimanjaro
7. Muppet Vision 3D
6. Maelstrom
5. Test Track 1.0
4. Body Wars
3. Flight of Passage
2. Alien Encounter
1. Dinosaur
After riding 2.0 several times I do believe that the 1.0 version was better. It actually made more sense for the track itself. And I liked the preshow better.

1. Cosmic Rewind
2. Expedition Everest
3. Splash Mountain
4. Flight of Passage
5. Toy Story Mania
6. Soarin (Used to be my favorite as a kid but Flight of Passage outclassed it a bit)
7. Rise of the Resistence
8. Tower of Terror

And honestly after that point there's so many different contenders so idk what 9-10 would be.

I'm going to be more unproductive than usual thinking about this. In general, I wish that a few more long, languid dark rides existed in the present. But, I do like a lot of things that exist now.

Lots of good things here. I feel like American Adventure is one of those forgotten gems. The fact it exists at all is incredible.

Wow, I don't believe that I forgot that one in my list. I've always thought that the creativity and the engineering of American Adventure was and still is the most complex and well designed of any attractions in Disney's arsenal. I took a tour of the workings below the "stage" and it is mind blowing. If I were to redo that list and rank them AA would be on the top. Yet, it is almost never talked about and I don't understand why.

Do they still offer that tour?

1 Horizons. Everything you've read about it is true, this is the one, the dark ride GOAT.
2 SSE. Doubles as the most beautiful man made architectural object ever. I'm eternally mesmerised.
3 Thunder. So much fun & atmosphere
4 Space Mountain
5 Pirates
6 Mansion
7 Universe of Energy
8 Safari
9 Star Tours. Uniquely amongst this list, the current rather than a previous version.
9 LwtL
10 Jungle Cruise

Leaning heavily towards long, slow rides that transport you places.
I shall admit to a certain nostalgia. Then again, nostalgia is a core ingredient of anything truly great Disney. Hence why trendy Disney always fails and is anything but.

Meega, nala kwishta!
I don't know, that was at least 12 years ago, possibly more. It was called the "Backstage Magic Tour".
Unfourtunatly, no they don't offer it anymore. That was a great tour, very long day, but a great tour. The tour of the shops (costumes/Christmas/wood/metal/Horticulture/etc.) backstage was fantastic too, along with the in-depth tours of how some of the rides/shows worked at MK, Epcot, and HS.

Yup, that's the one. It ended just before or during the afternoon parade in MK. It was a long day and a lot of walking, but worth every penny. I still have the lanyard and ID pin that came with the tour. The workshops were amazing, but the costume shop, for a male was a little tedious since most of the costumes shown were for the "Princesses". We did get an unexpected extra though when we accidently saw Britney Spears and her child/children getting their own private tour I think it was in HS but it might have been EPCOT. If I recall this was her pre-shaved head era.

Yes, great tour. We didn't have any brushes with celebrities, but we did get to see the Mission Space pods being built at that time. And our group was a little odd. Myself and DW, plus one other family with 2 16-year-olds (Disney only allowed 16+ on the tour at the time), and the rest of the group was made up a big group of Japanese businessmen learning how Disney does things.

Evidently, it was known across many industries for businesses to send people on the tour to get a sense on how Disney excelled at running such a large business. Even though most of them spoke no English, you definitely saw they were getting all kind of ideas on how to do things.

Such a loss not doing that tour any more.
