Toon Disney now totally messed up...

I don't know if any of you noticed, but Toon Disney had a big programming change on Monday.

ALMOST ALL 80s/EARLY 90s SHOWS HAVE BEEN TAKEN OFF THE LINEUP.

Yes, that's right. Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, and Bonkers have been removed. In their place are more reruns of Recess and the Proud Family. The only remaining classic era shows, Talespin and Goof Troop, are only on at early hours(In the 3 am-ish area).

This is really sad, considering this year is the 20th anniversary of Disney's venture into TV animation. And the two shows that started it all(Wuzzles and Gummi Bears) haven't aired on the channel for a while now...

Gosh. . . this company is so screwed up.

At least Playhouse Disney Channel has added Gummi Bears and Rescue Rangers to its lineup.

This absolutely terrible. Classic cartoons replaced by ones such as Digimon, X-Men, and Spider-Man?

This is horrible. I used to watch Toon Disney alot, but I hardly watch it anymore now days. "Jetix" or whatever its called is always on. They've filled it up with Power Rangers, and non-Disney related junk. Its horrendouse. Man, this really stinks.

I don't think Disney is worried too much about what us grown-ups like. We're not the demographic they are going after. Kids today really don't want to watch 80's cartoons and shows. I should know I have three.

You created this to showcase your older animated shows... at leasdt nicktoons tv shows their older ones.... (though no ren & stimpy)

You can't keep the same cartoons on the air for 20 years...especially if they're not in production anymore.

The channel is meant for kids...and as we all know their tastes change constantly.

What is/was fun for us may be stupid to today's generation of children.

How is two airings of Power Rangers, Digimon, & Spiderman filling it up? That's only 3/24ths of a day. Blame it on the other stuff but it doesn't make sense to say Jetix is filling it up.
