There's also the added bonus where if Space Mountain is down, you can see it with the lights on by riding the PeopleMover. Well, some of it anyway since they added that wall during the 2009 refurb.
We were there in November 2017...SM was down for several hours and as we were waiting for it to open again, we went on the PM...yes, the lights were on inside...it was such an awesome sight, I made the family go on it again...great ride, and I.m glad the model of the original Epcot was referbed and working!

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is such a mellow and pleasant ride, and it's always been a favorite of mine. Plus, it also seem like the ride lasts a longer time than some other attractions.
Agree with your post since the 1970's it has been one of our favorite rides. Relaxing, great view, and usually no lines. We ride it multiple times on each trip.

I love the Wedway Peoplemover. :p

Couple of days ago, the up/down ramps were not working; CMs were letting people know they had to be able to walk up and down them (and some bailed).

My fiance rode for the first time this past October and we both love it. It's the new early evening, rest our feet ride. I also just think it's really neat that you go inside various rides such as Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear.

I remember first riding TTA (back when it was called TTA), and before I was rid of my fear of roller coasters, I was so scared going into the Space Mountain portion because I thought we were going to take off! And I remember I kept thinking to myself 'Why don't we have any seat restraints?! I'll fall out!'

Back when I was a kid and was afraid of coasters, I loved riding the Peoplemover because I could still get a look at what was inside Space Mountain without having to ride it. It scratched my itch perfectly. I seem to remember that at one time there was a TRON section of it, but it's been a long time and I could have imagined it. My dear, departed Dad used to love old-school Tomorrowland. CoP was his favorite, but he'd go on and on about the Peoplemover and If You Had Wings (RIP).

I would describe this as the most “Zen” ride at Disney. My 10 and 12 year old kids love it and so do my wife and I. To me, the wedway peoplemover is a Rorschach test for guests. It can be a place to get excited about the rides you can see, it can be a place to people watch, it can be a place to imagine how future technology can improve our lives, it can be a place to take a nap, it can be everything!

I consider it one of the MK's top attractions, we normally ride it once in the daytime and once at night. The views are topped only by Orbiter maybe. All the different attractions you go through are awesome. I even get a few good photos if Buzz is out signing autographs, that is just being on the ride at the right time.

It is just nice to sit back, relax and enjoy. I also have stated this a few times, I like to slap five (yes, I was young during the eighties) with people going the opposite direction when the cars pass by each other. The kids really love it. If you do this, please watch how hard you do it, I basically let my arm go limp so no pain, though I have had kids who like to wind up and go all out, luckily I have a high tolerance for pain, I've been married for thirty years as of this year. Yes, I could have served over a life sentence as of now, or should I say my wife has. Poor woman.
