Tomorrowland Murals painted black?

The piecemeal approach that they take to Tomorrowland is so tacky and chintzy. I suppose the minor maintenance and small-fry updates they've done lately are better than nothing, but it's like why even bother at this point with Tomorrowland?

Whatever they're doing with the murals is just lipstick on an old, fat pig. And cheap drug store lipstick at that.

In the late 2010's a giant mural surface like that should be covered in HD video panels doing all sorts of cool special effects. But watch them just put up another static vinyl mural here with WDI intern "spacey" clip art.

Don't speak until you see.

Buzz is still a dirty mess in the Magic Kingdom. It definitely pales to even Disneyland's version. And while I'm not a fan of shooter dark rides, I'd take Buzz anyday over Mania. They've never invested in Buzz at the Kingdom. I can't imagine this version sticking around but who knows? I doubt it goes anywhere at DL. It's in much better condition.

Are the fish helping to build the subs or are the subs made out of fish?

j/k, but seriously, how many fish does it take to pull one sub?

The versions of Buzz confuse me, they are all slightly different right? Apart from Shanghai - that I can follow. I just know one was particularly worse than the lot except I’m never sure which resort it was.

Florida and Shanghai are the only ones that are any different. The rest are all complete blueprint copies of each other (including formerly Hong Kong). The Florida version has some similar scenes to the others though.

Oh??? You say that as if you know something. ;)

So will the new murals have video screen tech, or at least some sort of digital readout that changes and lights up? That would be a nice update.
Well...I don't
But I don't think disney will give tomorrowland the pixar pier treatment. It's a much more loved land by many fans than paradise pier ever was, in both terms of ubers and non ubers.

I'm sad no one here has mentioned the Mary Blair tile murals which are supposedly still on those walls, covered up "just in case."

Betcha no one in charge at DLR is even aware of them...

If those murals still existed, and Disney hasn't uncovered them in the last 20 years, then someone needs to be fired. The flying Space Mountains were ridiculous.

I once heard a "rumor" online that Winnie the Pooh only takes up the space of one of the Country Bear Theaters, and that the second theater is still around backstage.

I've decided that 9 times out of 10, the idea that beloved pieces of Disneyland's past existing in the park after their closure is wishful thinking on the part of fans.

Of course, I'm no exception. I've lately been curious about how much space Star Tours takes up in that building vs ATIS, and whether there are boarded up rooms back there with remnants of the attraction that Disney didn't feel the need to remove. Which is foolish thinking on my part. But it's fun to imagine.

Most of these rumors probably stem from elements of Wonders of Life and Journey into Imagination being closed off but not removed. I remember hearing that animatronics from Nature's Wonderland were buried underneath Big Thunder Ranch. Not sure if it's true, but if it is I wonder if they found them when constructing Galaxy's Edge.

Tomorrowland as a whole should be demolished and the project should have a re-do. The following attractions should be left out:

-Buzz
-Nemo
-Star Tours

Autopia and Astro Orbiter should be updated. Add some attractions that actually deal with the future, along with a decent food option.

Unfortunately, I don’t trust Disney in the slightest to actually fix Tomorrowland.
