Tomorrowland Dance Party

This has probably been mentioned before, so forgive me if it has.

I don't mind the dance parties, I don't particularly care for them, but it seems a lot of kids have fun dancing with the characters. However, the Carousel of Progress is one of my favorite attractions at MK, and it seems every time I choose to watch it, all I hear is "BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM." I guess I need to ride it during the day or I should know not to go there when a dance party is going on. Anybody else have the same problem?

I went on CoP while the Tomorrowland Christmas show was playing and all I heard was the fireworks going off at the end. I haven't rode it during the dance parties and I would like the dance parties if they were like ElecTRONica was or what I assume Mad T Party is now.

I specifically mentioned my hate of this event when I sent in my email about our last trip. I told them that the "aura" of CoP was ruined because I had to listen to Justin Beiber while learning about how John got roped into playing Benjamin Franklin. I'm serious, I HATE the dance party. Let me rephrase that, I HATE the location of it.

I hate it even more now that it is the #IncrediblesSuperDanceParty. The name is awful and the music is far more repetitive. I also hate when Edna Mode interupts to say some nonsense. I also find it odd that Mr. Incredible usually has more "soul" when dancing than FroZone.

I am so glad other people despise these dance parties with the passion that I do ! Tomorrowland has one of my all time favorite background loops but you would never know it at night. It's a shame the real attractions are drowned out by this. When did it become Disneys responsibility to make sure people's kids got exercise ?

Back in 2007 when I was working as a CP in WDW they used to have a dance party over near Ariel's Grotto during the "Pirate & Princess Parties"... I enjoyed these dance parties because they were far enough away from any attraction to ruin the ambiance and they stuck to all Disney songs. I just don't get the mixing of Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga into Disney either.

I remember when the dance parties starting popping up on night with extra magic hours. It didn't bother me then but now I just think it's a cheap way for Disney to entertain. It doesn't require much skill or creativity on the behalf of the park. It is also only about 5 min of entertainment for my son before he is over it. I would rather see something else that is crowd interactive and fun at night.

I enjoy the dance parties, I even joined in one last year! Actually, two, I think.. Although, I think they should choose a different soundtrack. I heard Baby playing last year from the Peoplemover, and I gave that dance party the Look of Death. :grumpy:
They can keep Michael Jackson in there, though. I danced along to "Thriller" last year and had the time of my life! :joyfull: I even got to dance with Goofy!

If Stitch is leading the party at Club 626, I'll stop and listen/watch. Fun to watch from the PeopleMover at night. The choice of music they play doesn't bother me, it just makes the whole thing feel like a party!
