One of my favorite spots (as you can tell from my avatar). Love exploring the caves and hanging out in the fort. Last time we went we were fortunate to find Aunt Polly's was actually open (Christmas time). When your feet are hurting and you just want to escape the crowds and rest in the shade, nothing beats sitting in the rocking chairs by Aunt Polly's. (Side note - I don't recall the guns being removed from the fort, but we are going again over Labor Day so we will definitely have to check that out.)

I hope they never remove the air rifles from the fort. I think everyone knows they are not real. Let kids have some fun.

I mentioned this on another thread about the 50th...we all know how WDW had a contest to win a night's stay in Cinderella Castle...suppose for the 50th, one of the buildings at the fort was converted to a room(s), and guests would have the opportunity to win a night on TSI?? I think I would enjoy that as much as sleeping in the castle!

I agree. I think it would be neat if there were things like a bed and a room there. There is a bathroom right in the fort area, we know this!
