Tips, Secrets, Insider Info

Actually, I remember this whole deal. She posted nearly the same question on 2 different forums (foura?).

I answered her on the other thread, then a few hours later the thread was gone. I suspect it was the other thread that got her suspended rather than this one.

I'm just reading this post for the first time today...

I did learn something though. Never give Steve the :fork:.

That's a pretty good secret I think.

Where is the best place to see the parade, characters, other stuff. Does anyone know about some sword in the stone thing, or any info "tourist" wouldn't know
Yeah, there is this secret cave under the castle that you can only get to by jumping into the mote water around it and swimming through the muck. Once under water you find the cave and it will lead to a slot machine that if you get three mickey heads you get all your $$ back.

DUMB!? :p

I think that's secrets from Mario 64.

It's funny. this thread is a month old. just getting to it today.

I can't belive that winnie erupted like that. She got more than a few tips. Well, just one more that doesn't belong here. Good riddance to people like that. And props to Steve for everything he does here. We all appreciate it.

Some people just want things handed to them. When you say, do a little research, they get totally offended. Researching and planning is the fun part. This girl sounded like she had never even picked up a guidebook. She is really missing out.

 Talk about slow on the uptake...

Chalk up another one who didn't read this thread until it was a month old!!

And, I know this is getting off the fun and onto the topic again, but for me, planning my Disney trip and researching sites and boards (like WDWMAGIC of course!) is the most exciting part!! Not only is it more fun for me to explore the secrets on my own through the web or a guidebook, but I also find that it's easier for me to recall them when I get down to WDW. Lists do nothing for me, you know? Unless it's something specific I have a question about or want feedback on, I don't find it to be incredibly effective to just read and not explore. :)

It looks like Space Mountain Paris, I see the asteriods to the left. At first it reminded me of Rock N Roller Coaster.

Going to Epcot? Dont' want to pay $5 or deal with the hassles of the parking lot? Go park at the Beach club parking lot and just say you are eating there. They'll wave you on. That'll also work for Poly and MK.

When was the last time you were at WDW?
Parking is now $7.00 and they pass out a 2 hour parking slip at the Poly. Boardwalk or Beachclub might still work depending on the time of the day.

Last April. But that tip has worked for us for the past few years. What you do is just flip over the card so they can't see the top of it.

i know this discussion has kind of passed-- but i have a tip...
i know that last time i went to magic kingdom i actually left the park in the evening and had reservations to eat at the restaurant in the contemporary resort--theres a very nice very good restaurant on the top floor, surrounded by windows. If you get reservations during the time of the fireworks, they actually turn down all the lights and play the same recording that is played at the park. From the restaurant there is actually a perfect panoramic view of magic kingdom and a great view of the fireworks-- You may want to be closer IDK but I know that I can't stand to be stuck in all the crowds and not even get a good view- This way, you're comfortable and have a great view of what's going on. Also, if your seat isn't next to a window in the restaurant, they also allow you to get up and go outside to a very nice / big balcony during the show. In my opinion, its a great set up- I didn't feel like i missed the show at all.

Exactly. I can see why it reminded you of RnR, though.
