Tipping in the parks?

Can someone please let me know how much to tip in the parks? We are on the DDP and will be going to both Buffets and table service meals. What is the correct amount to tip at each?:veryconfu

On the bottom of MOST of your fine dining receipts they will show you what a 18 percent and 20 percent tip is...as a suggestion. However, not all do.

We do 15% at buffets and at least 20% on TS meals, more if the service is really good. That is our general rule at home as well.

20% has become the normal tip. I do 25-30% for perfect service. I would never leave less than $5.00 no matter what the bill.

My minimum is 15%. The better the service, the higher I tip.

If your bill is $53.00, ten percent would be $5.30. (move the decimal over)
I double that to get 20% $10.60 or half that + the ten percent to get 15%.
5.30 + 2.65= 7.95 for 15%

I do this in all sit down restaurants, not just WDW.

Alcohol is not included on the Disney Dining Plan. If you do decide to drink - do not tip over 30 degrees from the vertical because you may fall over.
