If you ever want a really good laugh and some well thought out answers, or if you just want to do a little "Magic" testing, ask a cast member in the Magic Kigdom what the big wire is that connects the castle to Tomorrowland. You always get some good answers out of that. My two favorites are "That's where Cinderella hangs her laundry to dry," and "Even Cindrella likes watching The Disney Channel, so they installed cable for her."

Yeah, that happened to me, it was on the fourth of july 1990 something and I asked a cast member if tinkerbell would come down that wire, he went on in a high pitch happy voice "oh yeah, she flies all around here during the fireworks just like peter pan" etc etc. Well during the fireworks she got stuck 3/4 of the way down, she was shaking vigorously trying to make herself move on down. I so wanted to find that cm and ask him why didn't peter pan come help her. Thought that was funny, I do think the cm's should always keep the magic since there could always be a child nearby.

When I worked at MK I always used to say one of two things...

1. Cinderella needs to watch her Lifetime.
2. The castle started to lean and that was the quick fix. (That was always my favorite)

Also, my mom has often wondered, since Tinkerbell is so far away during flight, is it always a woman playing the role?

I'm not positive, but I remember 95-110lbs as weight requirement.
I don't believe there is a gender specification.
What I find most interesting is the age variation of tinkerbell and her friends....the term "maturity" comes to mind!

I have tried to catch Tink on my past two trips and missed her both times. During my last trip we had two opportunities but the winds were too strong for her to make her flight. :fork::fork: Totally bummed.

There used to be a thread on here that showed tink close up...It was the most.....disturbing thing i ever saw!!! Haha Some creepy person wearing a mask. Best left to view from a distance! :ROFLOL::goodnevil:fork:
