Tinker Bell - The Movie

My Niece, who is seven, is a TOTAL fairy freak right now. She is going to LOVE this movie, and so will her mom. She already had a totally Tinkerbell birthday, and I really do not think that Disney needs to release the movie to help sell merchandise.....I am looking forward to it!Oh by the way, she has this whole system of an unlit candle and glitter on her windowsill, and the fairies leave her notes, and she writes back...she tried to put double sided tape on the window screen to try to "catch" a fairy, till her mom told her that the fairies wouldnt come if she did....LOL!

I'll answer your poll....Tink will never make it solo to the big screen unless they release a third Peter Pan sequel. A movie solely devoted to Tink really wouldn't do well in the theatres for one reason, it would be strictly aimed at a young female audience only. There aren't too many young boys interested in going to see Tinkerbell in the theatres, put Peter Pan and Capt. Hook in there and you have a different story. I just don't think a Tink solo movie would be able to recover costs (feature theatrical costs, that is) going into the theatre. A theatrical feature costs more than direct-to-video movies(sequels or original). And to alienate the young male demographic from a theatrical movie is normally certain doom. There have been some movies that have done so, but none of them have honestly done very well.

I read on another site that Tinkerbell has indeed spoken before, though I don't remember it clearly. I think the movie was "Hook" and according to someone...said she was chatty and very talkative. I know I've seen the movie, but I honestly couldn't tell you anything about it.

It was indeed "Hook," and Tinkerbell was played by Julia Roberts.
