Timing of Fireworks Watching & Dining at California Grill

Hi - Just curious how much time should you allot for dinner at California Grill before MK Happily Ever After fireworks start? Ideally we would like to finish our main course, go watch the fireworks on the rooftop and return for dessert. Or even finish our meal entirely and then watch the fireworks. I know as long as we show our receipt/reservation we have access to rooftop viewing. If fireworks were around 8pm what time would you make reservations? TIA

We’ve found about an hour before works well. Depends on your timing of appetizers if you order them and drink order then main meal. Service is usually good so there isn’t a long time between ordering and receiving your start to the meal. They don’t rush you so you can work the timing to your plans.

If you want to finish your main course then watch the fireworks I would say 8-815 reservation time. I do not from experience if your meal is about to be served and the fireworks are going to start they will hold your meal in the back for you. Our server (Walter, who is amazing) asked if we were gonna go out and watch or stay inside so he knew when to bring out the dishes.

I usually find at around 20-30 mins before showtime sounds reasonable.
