I am going to the parks this weekend I plan on getting allot of JIYI pictures, and will have my review of the ride. From what I have read so far I cant wait. Of course a Mission:Space panoramic will be in the works

Just perfect, as soon as the blackout dates start on my seasonal pass, Timekeeper and COP open back up. Just my luck. Oh well though, I geuss I should just be glad that they opened back up. My guess is that they will be open all summer. Well for the most crowded part anyway. I was there at Magic Kingdom on Teusday and let me tell you it was packed. Usually POTC doesn't have much of a line but they only had one side open(as usual) and I kid you not the line was all the way across the path that runs by it and hitting the wall on the other side. I couldn't believe how packed it was.

They allow you now to take as many pictures and videotape of this attraction as you want. I know when it first open the banned pictures and videotaping.

I asked a CM about the fate of it because it's a great attraction and it gets the little kids to realize that it really was ONE MAN who made everything there!!! The CM told me that it was for 100 years celebration ONLY because 80% of the props and displays were on loan.

okay, I'm ever so slightly confused. CoP opens on the 9th and stays open till? Will it still be running on the 14th? that's my next day off and I would love to go see it again before it gets closed down again. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if CoP is usually open mid-October? I know that's kinda far off, but no Disney vacation would be the same without going on CoP.

GrizzlyHall --> I love the new avitar! Two thumbs up! :sohappy:

That's good news...I knew Disney would realize their mistake soon enough. I remeber over Easter COP stayed open way past when it was supposed to close: like 9 or 10 PM. Anyway, it was around then after SpectroMagic and COP was packed! But the most unbelievable part of it all was that people in the audience were acutally singing and dancing along to "There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow". That was an amazing experience...

Yup. The public still likes the CoP! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

I was watching a video from a year before last October. At the end of the show, the audience, which was a full house, started clapping and singing "THERES A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW - JUST A DREAM AWAY!!!!!!!!"

LONG LIVE COP! :D

Off the subject for just a sec, what is this seasonal pass you mention? I know there is the annual pass, premium annual pass, and of course the free visits for CM's.

FL residents can buy a "Seasonal" Pass. It's essentially an annual pass with blackout dates. The main blackout period is during the summer. Otherwise, the rest of the year is open except for holidays.

Essentially, any crowded time a FL resident wouldn't want to be in the parks, they can visit, for much much cheaper than any of the other ticket options.

Figures...We're back home from Disney and CoP opens for one day!

We were there the week of Memorial Day and it was sad to see CoP just sitting there, not rotating! I hope it rotates a lot on June 9th!
