Yes, most of Tomorrowland will have to stay as the regualr theme. For the one ride you keep, you may not retheme the ride to a different story. BUT, you can add upgrades to make the ride better. Hope that helped!Do we need to keep the theme as Tomorrowland (or at least mostly Tomorrowland like), or can we change the theme? Also, can we retheme the one ride we keep, or does the ride we keep have to stay more or less the same?
Remember, this is for Disneyland Anaheim only! So to answer your question, you can only do the Disneyland Anaheim Tomorrowland.Does it matter what tomorrowland we redo? Or can it be any tomorrowland from any park?
Of course! I will add you to the chat!Last minute entry?
XtraTERROReStrial
Tech giant X-S, known for pioneering in the teleporting industry, is giving exclusive tours of their headquarters in Tomorrowland. Civilians will come face-to-face with the company's CEO, L.C Clench, as well as see the company's teleporters right in front of their eyes.
However, the teleporting goes awry, and several dangerous aliens from galaxies away appear and terrorize the headquarters. The emergency blasters on your tour cart activate, it's up to you to stop all of these aliens and their leader, a deadly Omnivorus Carnivorus.
Past the Moonliner lies the X-S Tech Security Centre, using the Innovations building, which is covered in black and blue metals, with a rather egotistical logo on the roof. It is supported by the Galactic Federation. You can probably guess what is in this building. Well, perhaps not. Europa Alien Encounter makes a return, but not perhaps as it is remembered. Guests are welcomed into the X-S building, where the chairman, L.C. Clench, gives guests a pitch of his security and prison company with such oozing egotism, it hurts to watch. The walls of the foyer are decorated with visual gags to iconic Tomorrowland attractions. After meeting the robotic security chief, S.I.R., guests are informed that Captain Gantu from Lilo & Stitch has arrived to deliver a new prisoner: Experiment 626. This version of Alien Encounter mixes elements from the classic ride, but also the better parts of Stitch’s Great Escape... Yes, really.
Guests then board ride vehicles, Securipods, to tour the prison facilities. Each vehicle is armed with four “anti-hostile auxiliary blasters”, meant to stun any escapee prisoners. The tour goes through several rooms containing aliens in various cells. We also see the newly imprisoned Stitch, who is seen concocting a way out by spitting on some cannons that follow his genetic signature. The ride goes through into the next room, where an enormous, terrifying, carnivorous alien, simply known as The Scourge, is housed within an air-tight containment box. Unfortunately, we hear Stitch escaping his cell, climbing through the vents and shuts down the power grid – and releases all of the prisoners. The room plunges into darkness, and the Scourge breaks loose as seen through flickering lights.
Captain Gantu and S.I.R. warn the guests to arm themselves and fend off the escapees til the power is restored. Guests venture through the depths of the facility in a shooter ride, targeting a variety of wacky and scary aliens, whilst encountering both Stitch and the Scourge along the way. Both aliens eventually meet each other in a showdown, and the decision to shoot at the targets on either alien can alter the ending of the story. If the Scourge is fired at, it will be defeated and imprisoned, while Stitch escapes in a spaceship. If Stitch is fired at, the Scourge will escape (via a large Scourge-shaped hole in the wall), and Gantu warns the alien is running loose in the expo. Guests may glimpse the beast within Space Mountain whilst riding the People Mover.

Just a dream away!
In 2025, the Tomorrowland that currently resides in Disneyland Resort will receive a makeover like never before. The land will be drastically changed to reflect a sleek, more modern future. The renovation will be around the same size as it is today, but will have immersion on the level of Star Wars: Galaxies Edge. Use of intellectual properties will be minimal, and the land will focus more on several big E-Tickets and immersion.
Welcome to
New Tomorrowland!
The Astro Orbitor will be demolished to make way for a new entrance. A tall, metal dome that has text rotating text on it, most of which relates to major land attractions. The text states,
"WELCOME TO TOMORROWLAND! TODAY'S DATE IS [MM]/[DD]/2085! THE TEMPERATURE IS [The temperature goes here, number is the temperature in Anaheim at the time]! X-S GIVING TOURS! HOVERCAR FREE TRIALS! VISIT THE UNDERWATER DISTRICT! GALACTIC TRAVEL AGENCY DEPARTING SPACE FLIGHTS! TRAFFIC HEAVY! WELCOME TO TOMORROWLAND!"
At the bottom of the dome, there are windows with robots inside of them. The robots can talk to guests, tell them about the land, and even the wait times. The robots are animatronics voiced by Cast Members.
The land itself will be overhauled to fell more like a city. For example, forced perspective buildings, fake hovercars on KUKA arms flying over ride buildings, and cast members dressed as things like robots and aliens. Who knows, you might even see a certain talking trashcan show up. There is even a new soundtrack for the land done by Daft Punk!
The first major attraction in the land is a completely revamped Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, where the ride system will remain intact, but show scenes and animatronics will be changed greatly. The ride will also change it's theme from Toy Story to a fondly remembered, thrilling experience from the past of WDW's Tomorrowland.

The Tomorrowland Peoplemover
The much beloved Peoplemover will be making a return to California, with vehicles modeled like the ones in Florida. Take a close up view with the attractions in Tomorrowland, as well as explore the city a little. You never know who you might see!
Star Tours and the Tomorrowland Theater will be gutted to make way for the largest new addition to New Tomorrowland, a new E-Ticket will be built using the space of those 2 attractions. As well as fill in the area between Tomorrowland and Main Street, as well as behind Space Mountain.
Rush Hour
You stumble across a large taxi company that promises to get you to the other side of Tomorrowland as fast as possible. The problem, it's rush hour, and hundreds of cars are flying by. The taxi will take several different routes, going up to 80 MPH. This large ride will use the same technology and ride system as Test Track. The ride ends with the taxi successfully getting you to the other side of the land, only to get beaten by a competing taxi.
Space Mountain will remain the same, although the ride will have a bit of story, with a Galactic Travel Agency, a company that sets people into outer space missions, setting the ride into play.
Pizza Port will now serve good pizza.
Star Wars: Launch Bay will be entirely demolished to make way for a sub-land of sorts;
Paradise Courtyard
This new sub land will have Foodture Truck, a food truck selling snacks and small meals.
Finest Greenhouse, a counter service restaurant specializing in vegan food.
Burger Canopy, a quick service burger stand operated by an animatronic designed to look like a futuristic robot.
Meters Above Earth, a clone of the space restaurant coming to EPCOT.
Junk of All Sorts, the gift shop where you end up after Rush Hour.
But the biggest thing in Paradise Courtyard is History Museum, a walkthrough attraction detailing the changes in human culture and technology up until that point.
Autopia will get a total makeover, with a total change in theme and ride system,
Magnificent Hover Cars
When you first walk up to your vehicle, it will seem to be on the ground. But when you get in, the vehicle will rise into the air. The vehicle has a hidden robotic arm under the track which raises it up, you can change how high you can be with a lever, similar to Dumbo.
The Monorail will be remaining mostly the same, but it will now have Augmented Reality windows so you can see things that aren't there to add a bit of "Disney Magic"
Lastly, The Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage will get a theme change, we've been on land and space, only one place left to go.
Ocean District Voyage
You will board a submarine to take you on a tour of Tomorrowland's Ocean District. You will see several holographic and robot fish, underwater vehicles exploring the seas, and several buildings of all kinds. Like apartments, hospitals, and science labs.
Once your tour is over, you will go into a walkthrough attraction where you will explore a part of the Ocean District and get a taste of the future. You can even meet the famous scientist of the seas, Fishh E. Mann
And that concludes our tour of the New Tomorrowland, there is lots to see and do. I hope you enjoyed this journey, as I have. Always remember, there's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day!
"To all who warp drive and hyperjump to this happy place, welcome. Since its inception many moons ago, Tomorrowland has always strived to uphold the ideals that it was built on. The belief and hope in a better tomorrow, and achievements and wonders made through science, technology, and innovation. This great institution of progression, creativity, and ingenuity, since its humble origins as a Terran amusement enterprise, has guided mankind to dream big and achieve the impossible. From the time man first stepped on the Moon, through the Atomic Age, the Plasma Age, the Bandwidth Age, and to the stars and beyond. From the time we first made contact with our intergalactic neighbours, founded out first colony on Mars, conquered the deepest depths, transformed deserts into lush jungles, and invented the Black Hole-powered Waffle Iron, the memory and inspiration of Tomorrowland has lingered overhead, reminding us of our past and guiding us to a better future. And now, on the eve of the 1100th anniversary, and on the grounds where the first Tomorrowland stood, I hereby declare the Milky Way Expo open, with a hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to the known universe. Thank you!" -- Thomas A. Morrow the 19th, opening speech of the Milky Way Expo, July 17 3055.
Tomorrowland: New Horizons
I wanted to create a traditional Tomorrowland area, but was torn between including a realistic idea of the future (space travel, robotics, intergalactic colonisation, underwater colonisation); and a fictional alien spaceport like that of the Magic Kingdom. I decided to just fuse both together, set during an otherworldly science expo some time in the distant future. Welcome to the new Tomorrowland!
The Milky Way Expo was founded by cosmologist and astronomer, Tom Morrow the 5th over 500 years ago, upon landing his ship in what was once known as Anaheim, California, rescuing the local aliens, the Lightkeepers, from a geological disaster. As such, they helped him to build the first expo, with many aliens and civilizations coming together to build their magnificent labs of the future. The expo and Tomorrowland eventually left Earth, becoming a travelling intergalactic brand that encouraged technological innovation. Architecturally, the land would take inspiration from the designs of Santiago Calatrava, who built the City of Arts and Sciences, where Tomorrowland was filmed. So, it comes full circle in a way. But, at night, the land develops a whole new identity, becoming illuminated with bright cosmic lights and colour themes that reflect the diversity of outer space. The current president of Tomorrowland is Tom Morrow the 19th, a cyborg fascinated by the vastness of the universe.
The land’s layout takes a mix of inspiration from both Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom’s incarnations of Tomorrowland. I also wanted to use only a couple of IP, and keep the original story and otherworldliness of the land a priority. I never liked Tomorrowland being a dumping ground for sci-fi related properties, ruining whatever theming was meant to exist in it. Milky Way Expo celebrates the potential of mankind’s ingenuity and imagination, and the optimism of a semi-realistic future – hence the focus on space travel, intergalactic relations, and colonisation on other planets and underwater. The land is also a spaceport for aliens, so the land is relatively immersive and detailed, with many interactive characters to be found
The main entrance is imposing, reviving those beautiful waterfalls from the Magic Kingdom, giving a sense of majesty and wonder to the expo. Beyond that are sleek curving, white and silver buildings. Most have two floors, to accommodate numerous attractions. Standing beyond the entrance way is the Moonliner, a large, somewhat more retro space shuttle, now used as a museum piece celebrating Tomorrowland's glory days. As you might have guessed, the Astro Orbitor is gone.
Let’s actually talk about the attractions. First up is Baymax’s Science Cycle, replacing Buzz Lightyear, located within the expo’s Science Hall of Medicine and Robotics, on the left hand side of the entrance. It is “sponsored” by Hamada and Krei Enterprises. Obviously based on Big Hero 6, the ride would be based on the one coming to Tokyo Disneyland, basically a glorified, heavily themed drag spinner. Baymax, and his numerous, identical units (which would be commonplace in the future), invite guests to attempt to make a new useable energy source based on kinetic energy. Guests sit in pods which are dragged backwards around a circular arena by the Baymax units, their speed depending on the guests using a pedal in the vehicles. The faster they go, the more energy is built up within an energy generator until it is filled, completing the experiment. Adjacent to the ride is Old San Fransokyo Trinkets, a gift shop, with a coffee area thematically based around the Lucky Cat Cafe.
On the first floor of the Science Hall of Medicine and Robotics is the Big Hero 6 Labs (officially the “Tadashi Hamada Memorial Labs”), hosting as a museum to the heroics of the Big Hero 6, but also offering a series of fun, hands-on and virtual activities, allowing guests to play with science, and see the latest real world scientific advances. Guests can also meet Baymax here.
In the centre of the land are the revived Rocket Jets, now renamed the Pocket Rockets. Effectively the same ride but with updated tech, the ride is based around the idea of a rocket testing facility" and a major promo for what personal rocket travel could feel like.
Opposite that is the Expo Galaxy Market and Tomorrowland Transportation Authority (i.e. The People Mover). The lower floor houses a cluster of shops and restaurants, while the ever beloved People Mover’s loading station is located on the first floor, accessible via escalators or lifts. The People Mover circles the entire land clockwise, before looping back around to the start, venturing through each show building, with a final trip through the interior of Space Mountain. On the roof of the TTA, guests may recognise the Trimaxion spaceship from Flight of the Navigator. The market consists of a singular floor, with two entrances. Restaurants include Starlight Terrace, which looks out on the Hub; Cosmic Ray’s Nightsky Café, a jazzy music club which contains the “Greatest Pizza Maker in the Known Universe”, and with a band headlined by Cosmic Ray himself, alongside his fellow bandmates, Lens Flare, Jett Stream, and Nova Nebula; Halley’s Fine Crystals, a crystal shop made from parts of Halley’s Comet; and The Merchant of Venus, a merchandise and clothes shop run by the titular Venusian trader.
Built next to the X-S Tech Security Centre is the expo’s major dining restaurant, inspired by the upcoming new Epcot restaurant: Horizon Observation Deck. Using the power of illusions, guests find themselves in an interstellar restaurant, the windows showing the views of space, with meteorites, spaceships, and the occasional astronaut passing by.
Perhaps the most unique attraction in Tomorrowland is the Gigantic Garden Breakout, in place of the Magic Eye Theatre, in the Expo Botanic Centre, which has the strange sight of large plants growing out of it. Set within an exotic bio-lab and set of greenhouses, this dark ride takes guests on a wild ride through an experiment gone wrong. Dr. Atticus Greenway, a botanist, has invented the Super Growth formula, to help accelerate the growth of plants in environments that would normally be uninhabitable. His tests have proved to have gone both right and wrong, with a majority of the greenhouse’s contents growing jumbo-sized, turning the labs into a vast jungle of giant alien plants and vegetables. And some of them are becoming a little lively, and very, very hungry.
Space Mountain remains the same, but with its story adjusted to blend in with the whole of Tomorrowland. Next door the the H.O.D. is the Whizz and Bang Electro Plant, a themed arcade where the games act as generators for the plant.
At the opposite end of the expo are two transport based attractions. The first is the Gravity Grand Prix, originally meant to promote speedy anti-gravity cars which can be used to travel from planet to planet for commuters. Instead, these hovercars have instead been repurposed for a wild race through alien caverns. A mix of Autopia and Radiator Spring Racers. The final attraction is a reinvention of the Submarine Voyages, Aquasub Voyage, incorporating the idea of an underwater colony named Sea Base Alpha (a nod to The Living Seas). Guests board the Aquasubs and venture down into the depths, exploring the sea base and its surroundings. Once last thing is Tomorrowland's train station, located on a path going by the Gravity Grand Prix.
